The Aino menu places focus on fresh, local ingredients and pure flavours. The popular Wäinämöinen selection includes the speciality reindeer fillet with bacon potato puree, and a fresh blackcurrant and thyme sauce. Dishes fresquently make use of wild ingredients, such as game, reindeer, fish, root vegetables and berries, and the adventurous range varies with the seasons.
Aino restaurant specialises in quality beers sourced from small local breweries, which can be enjoyed from the rustic, vaulted brick cellar. The extensive wine list has been compiled by award-winning Essi Avellan, the first Finnish Master of Wine.
