The food was delicious, really really tasty and felt very authentically Italian! My pizza was amazing and I loved the view of the pizza oven in the open kitchen. My two companions also said their dishes were really tasty. The restaurant is smallish but I liked the decor-my favourite kind of seating is booths and they lined one wall of the restaurant.

I had been to Zizzi's with friends a while back so when my eldest daughter (5 years old and a pizza lover) wanted to go somewhere "fancy" before a cinema trip, I didn't hesitate about booking Zizzi's. I'm happy to report that she loved it and has already asked to go back. Unfortunately my husband and I waited AN ETERNITY for our mains (2x pizzas). Luckily we had left ourselves plenty of time before our movie, but the delay meant we missed out on a visit to Hamley's :(

A member of staff did eventually approach us to say that our pizzas would be out in "two to three minutes" but unfortunately it was a lot longer than that before they arrived, with no explanation as to why they had been delayed. We had both opted for the Rustica base which boasts "a crispier texture and more toppings". I beg to differ. Both pizzas were indeed crispy, and big, but the toppings were so sparse and spanned out! For me, every bite of pizza should contain a little of the toppings, but this was not the case. Such a shame as the toppings are delicious! Now maybe our pizzas were prepared in a hurry as they were running so late, and the chef didn't give enough attention to the toppings as he usually would? Benefit of the doubt here - my pizza on my last visit was perfectly adorned!

As I said, my daughter loved Zizzi's and wants to go back, so we will give it another try, but given that we don't get out much, I hope it won't be as disappointing for us parents the next time!

We went for a pre-movie dinner and shared some of the lovely antipasti dishes for starter, then a couple of classic pizzas - the Hot Italian was popular and also the Zucca with interesting toppings (butternut squash, goats cheese, very tasty caramelised onions and more). Pretty big portions, great for sharing.
The house prosecco was nice & refreshing, and affordable! Great service, good value, we'll be back for sure.

Walked into a bright and fresh new restaurant with warm and inviting colour scheme. Then met by a friendly hostess, I knew the food was going to be good. I had seen online that there was a 2 course special which I went for. Caprese starter was very good and the balsamic was superb, nice and thick. I haven't eaten pizza in years and when I saw a spelt pizza which was low calorie, I was in heaven! It was delish, not too big, nice thin base and low calorie as it said but still tasty. We had coffee to finish which was served in a cool glass mug. Overall I was really impressed, I eat out all the time and now I think I have found a good local Italian I will definitely be back to.
