Blending fresh flavours from Scotland to Europe, the superb seasonal menu incorporates these international influences to offer deliciously simple cuisine including game dishes like rump of venison with pickled prunes, cranberries and mash to lighter dishes like skate with capers and black butter. The divine sweets on the dessert list include treats like hazelnut meringue with blackcurrants and quince ice cream or sticky toffee pudding with brown bread ice cream.

We got the deal for two courses with a Kir Royale and free entry to the exhibition at the Design Museum. Would maybe have been slightly better to take the two courses for [$] deal. Ate at 2.30, it was about half full, so nice ambiance but not too busy. The views are amazing, and watching the river and the bridge as it got dark was just wonderful. Staff were so so friendly, helpful, attentive but not at all intrusive. They let us linger over dessert and finishing drinks, and were just really nice. Not the cheapest place, but worth it for the atmosphere and the spectacular views (even on a rainy day!) and excellent service only adds to it. It is a bit of a walk (about 15mins) from London Bridge though - worth just thinking about shoes!

Weird one, we didnt have 2 courses for [$] as booked, but the menu we've been presented was [$] for 2 courses ( i think its always like this) and we had a glass of champagne. In the end we were billed [$] each but it was very confusing.Onglet was very nice, the polenta dish not so much.Great setting

We had the London Restaurant Festival menu of 2 courses for [$]. Soup and pate were delicious. Polenta was unusually tasty as a vegetarian dish. The chicken was moist but not fully cooked at the centre. When I pointed it out, it was quickly replaced with a dessert and [$] deducted from the bill. Service by the Hungarian waiter was slick

As a Londoner, there is a vast choice of pricey restaurants and so I would expect the Blueprint cafe to offer others a run for their money. Whilst the setting is great, the service was not. Main meals served 10 mins ahead of the vegetables and were nothing special. We had to ask twice where the vegetables were. Cheekily charged for tap water which is the first time this has ever happened to me in London.

We are regular diners at good restaurants and the Blueprint cafe could do better. The setting is not enough.
