Can be a little hard to find unless you know where it is, on arrival was immediately seen to by staff, was given a choice of tables to choose from, menu was simple and easy to understand, service was FAST, the Sommilier made an excellent choice in the wine, food was good though the starter was a little too simple, desert was absolute divine though.

Food was a bit bland tonight, which I mentioned, but the waitress made up for it, giving us a free round of drinks and some small cakes as gifts on the way out.

The views were stunnng, and I quite liked the lodge that they have got outside.

This was probably my 8th visit and tonight's visit wouldn't put me off going again.

Went with my friend for a special lunch. She had never been to this restaurant before, and I persuaded her to go as it is one of my faviourites. It has now become her favourite restaurant too!! We had a wonderful experience, the staff were very attentive, the food was so delicious and the ambiance was truly amazing. We will definitely be visiting again, and for sure we will be there in the summer for their jazz experience and Sunday BBQ.

The food was very good. Unfortunately the service was appalling. We waited 10-15 mins after being seated for the waiter - we asked for a bottle of wine and he said he'd take our food order first and then sort the wine! When we had finished our meal - having had to get the waiter's attention during that to get another bottle of wine - we were told that the area we were sitting in was going to close for dinner "in about 30 mins" - but we could go to the bar/garden area - no-one came back with our bill or offered to take our drinks through - so in the end we picked up our own wine and glasses and tried to find a table. A waiter then came up to us and accused us of not paying, but then said if we gave a credit card they would let us add our drinks to the bill (but quite rudely). We then found our own table and waited, in vain, to be served. Eventually had to go and get someone to get us a drink.... and the bill at the same time. We ended up asking for the service charge to be taken off. We also ordered some coffee for two of us and only one came and that was cold, that got replaced and we had to ask again for the other one. Not a great experience.
