We dined quite late but we were made to feel welcome and there was a buzzing atmosphere. The food was very good, quite rich and with a strong French influence. Great choice of wine and the service was superb too.

Visted the COQ as part of the london food festival, for [$] you get two courses and a glass or LP rose champange...which is great value....total meal came to [$]....extra bottle of wine...(cheapest circa [$]) and 12.5% set tip!but still for [$] a head you cant complain....service is excellent.....food was fantastic....i would go again!

Went for a Friday dinner at 7:30pm. Had the London Restaurant Festival 2 course set menu. The pork starter was delicious and rump steak main was cooked to absolute perfection. Great service and lovely atmosphere with a mix crowd of city business workers and smart casual diners. Would love to go back again. Outdoor seating looks amazing but was a bit too cold for it on the night.

We dined in the evening as part of the London Restaurant Festival. It took 30 minutes once seated for us to receive any bread or water despite asking several times. Champagne did not arrive as promised. Service improved later on but overall, had pretentions on which it was unable to deliver. Wine list was extensive and expensive although the only [$] bottle we could find, a Languedoc merlot, was very passable. Snail starter was excellent. Beef main disappointed with the meat lacking flavour and the poivre sauce thin and also low on taste. Deserts and cheese board good. Nice enough decor and ambience and, of course, the roof top views outside are excellent. In summary, OK but not exceptional and certainly not consistently excellent given the price bracket in which it operates.

I went here for dinner on a saturday, and was lucky enough to get an outside table. The food was very very impressive. Looked loely on the plate and tasted even better. Mushroom parfait delicious, lamb rump was very soft and tasty, and a very yummy white chocolate and strawberry tart for dessert! I had the best food EVER and will definatly be going back!

Wine was excellent but there is little at the lower price range.
