The foods was just the right amount and perfect for the price. I had the set 3 course menu and the food came out at a nice pace. Service was excellent. My wine glass was never empty. The music band was brilliant. Set in true cuban style.

Not so Cuban anymore but still worth it

I had dinner with a few friends on Wednesday in Floridita around 20:30. There is not much that I can complain about, except for the fact that we kinda expected it to be a Cuban place as advertised on Book a Table. They didn't have live music that day, although they apparently have live music bands everyday except Wednesdays - as we found out from the friendly receptionist who handed us a live music guide. A bit dissapointed, we procedeed to our table as they did have a cabaret show on - so we thought we should give it a try. To be honest, it was great. It wasn't what we planned for but the show and the atmosphere was very vibrant. We slowly realised that we did well by choosing to stay. The food wasn't the best we had but it was very well balanced in flavouring and the steak was delicious, cooked as per our instructions. The service is simply refreshingly good. We felt taken care of, not once neglected, nothing was too much for our waiter. I do recommend Floridita and I will return on a Saturday as they have a latin band on, so I will try that as well.

Amazing night out

I had diner in Floridita with a couple of friends around 8:30pm on a Saturday. At the end of the night all I can say is that my friends and I were really happy with our choice. The food was very close to the cuban cuisine and the menu well presented. When it comes to the service I'm lost for words. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming but in the same time very professional. We loved the live music and the atmosphere on the dance floor. If you are looking for a good time and a live music venue, I recommend Floridita with all my heart.

Four of us dined in the early evening (8ish). The cocktails we ordered were poorly executed the flavours were not strong the mojitos were watery (In a cuban bar!). The food was ok but very overpriced and they try to squeeze money out of you by providing no sides and charging £4 for them. Service was focused almost totally on getting us off our table within the 2 hour slot they had so generously given. This place is a rip off. Come here to dance if you like cuban music though the musicians are excellent.

We dined on a late Saturday evening and had a few cocktails upstairs before heading down for food. They were busy so we had to wait at the par for twenty minutes... Only ONE veggie option which i was extremely disappointed with.. incredibly sickly! My boyfriend loved the chicken though & our starters were nice.

I did not dine, just had some wine;it was served with complimentary doritos, nice touch!
Our waitress was called Carolina, from Poland - She topped up our glass frequently, was very attentive, cheerful and smart.
