Had a great time and enjoyed having a tea which was different. Staff very friendly and looked after all our needs and worked very hard.

Very disappointing, dry sandwiches and oversweet desserts. Alice in Wonderland theme is a nice touch but unfortunately when the food was not of a high standard then it's just an annoying gimmick

A Mad Hatters Tea was a very novel experience. Given to me as a present. Was surprised that the cost advertised at the time of booking was different when the bill came. Also no mention on the Internet of the 11+% service charge. So our bill was a bit of a surprise. Our present giver quite embarrassed. Staff very attentive and pleasant

The experience was good but we saw the next table with champagne and we asked the waitress if that was included in the deal. She said "yes" would you like rose or white. We opted for two rose and 3 white for our party of 5. Until we got the bill extra £10 each for white and £20 for rose!!! Unbelievable!! They changed the rose price to £10 - but still felt ripped off...the deal is only £6 cheaper than regular price anyway....
We will not be returning.

Where do you start.....though the theme was instigated by childhood dreams it complimented the adult elements perfectly. Everyone likes to recap their fondest memories and what better way to have the reminder via the Mad hatter Afternoon Tea Party.
Though not an actual party (depends on the company!!) it's a delightful experience.......from the novelty book on the table containing the extended menu available to you as well as the musical box containing sugar cubes for your array of afternoon teas......sugar & cream, Earl Grey, Mint choc Chip and many more!
Sandwiches wrapped as mini swiss rolls....the likes of Salmon on Rye or Cream Cheese and Chives but to name a few..........cute but grown up....and for afters homemade marshmallow mushrooms...the drink me potion (three flavours captured in a little bottle with a daring but amazing combustion of taste - Amazing!!!) with so many other delightful trinkets to set your tastebuds alight.
Overall a great experience and an added difference to your usual afternoon teas including the quirky tea sets used with the King and Queen Teapots, tick tock teacup and plate........

My friend and I were greeted at the door and shown to the restaurant reception where we were seated immediately. The waitress then explained the menu and left us with 3 sample flavours of tea to see if we would like to try them with our meal. The pots of tea served in novelty teapots were served quickly followed shortly afterwards by the sandwiches and cakes. They looked beautiful and each one was explained to us. The staff showed just the right amount of attentiveness and nothing was too much trouble, the surroundings were nice and we enjoyed every bite of the afternoon tea.
