Really enjoyable. Polite service with right balance of being attentive and leaving us in peace. Delicious food - especially the lamb

relaxed atmosphere with a wonderful choice on the menu. Beautiful food, attentive staff. We will definitely be back. The pork belly was a winner, and choice of deserts was impressive.

We were celebrating a birthday, we did the 3 course deal £30 with a glass of prosecco, couldn't fault it. I had the mozzarella starter followed by the mackerel with mash and the chocolate date pudding with caramel sauce , delicious . I tried my husbands starter which was the squid and octopus which was lovely too. The service was good, very friendly waitress and helpful with recommendations plus a good choice from a set menu, would go back again. ???? The only thing was the wine list was very expensive , the cheapest bottle was £25 but it was worth it overall

Great restaurant with a lovely buzzy atmosphere without feeling chaotic. We enjoyed a 3 course set menu with a glass of prosecco which was very good value for £30 a head. Its a hearty, modern British menu that leaves you feeling satisfied. The service was very friendly and efficient. The wine list had some interesting options and the recommendation of an English pinot noir proved a sound one. Overall we had a lovely evening.
