Has really improved since a bit of a low point a couple of years ago. Excellent.

Excellent! 'Star deal' began with a delicious cocktail that definitely hit the spot! Food was brilliant, tho my gorgeous whole Dover sole was perhaps not the best choice when I wanted to chat with my guest as well as eat LOL. My apple & blackberry crumble with custard also great.... as was the efficiency & service. The bottle of Chardonnay was fabulous too. Star deal was £35pp, but when the bottle of water, bottle of wine, two side dishes & the (optional) 12.5% service was added on, the total bill (for 2) was £130.11.

Lovely location, very good food, service was excellent. Only slight downside was that it was quite noisy - piano/singer and the general noise of diners meant I found it a bit difficult to have a proper conversation with my friends but that's my only criticism.

Food was brilliant, but Our waiter seemed genuinely uninterested in whatever he was doing. If you can overlook fairly bad service then definitely check this place out, as the food was brilliant.

My megrim sole was dry and overcooked as were my husbands pork ribs. The glasses of wine were overpriced at £11 for 175 cl. The service was good and the staff were attentive and friendly.
