Delicious dishes at Imli restaurant include the chicken haryali cooked in a smooth blend of cashew nut, coriander and green chilli sauce served with rice and the southern Indian lamb curry sautéed with ginger, garlic and chillies. We dined at 1.30pm on a Friday and the restaurant was busy but calm.
The food is absolutely wonderful. Certainly amongst the very best Indian food that I have ever eaten in over 40 years! It is beautifully spiced and tastes more authentic than most other Indian restaurants I have tried.
The platters are excellent value for money and give you,an opportunity to try small portions of 6 different dishes. The staff are very friendly and chatty and are willing to explain every dish on the menu if required. This is first class dining experience - do not miss!

Dined at 6.30pm on a Tuesday night and the pre-theatre menu was just right , staff were very good hosts, food was well presented, hot and good value for the price. Would definitely dine there again:)

We dined in the evening. Imli was easy to locate and immediately welcoming when we arrived. Staff were helpful in advice regarding the menu. This style of dining enables you to try something different and each dish was very tasty. The carafe of rose wine was very acceptable and complimented the food. We finished with sorbet and ice cream which again were different and delicious. We came away extremely pleased with our choice and would definately return on our next visit to London.

Bright and colourful Indian tapas as well as fresh and exotic fruit smoothies. Service was attentive and it was nice to try a flavour of each little dish on the tapas lunch platter.

Dined at lunch, chose a tapas-style platter which was very reasonably priced, so much so that we thought the portions would be tiny, but not the case at all. Lots of little dishes filled with flavour, all presented very cleanly. Cocktails are a must, even the non-alcoholic ones! Service was efficient but still really friendly. This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in London, really don't know why this place has any negative reviews!

Not the first visit and we were disappointed by the decline in quality of the food since the previous time. Too much sauce and too little content in several dishes plus the fish was really overcooked. Good service and ambience but it's not somewhere we would choose again.

I took dinner on Sat. Menu was limited for a person with diary product allergy (a surprise and disappointment to me as it is an Indian restaurant afterall). Choice of vegetable dish is also limited.
It takes them so long to give me a glass of tap water instead of a ginger ale.
Their roti is nice though.
