More about OXO Tower Brasserie

Perched on the 8th floor of Oxo Tower on London’s South Bank, Oxo Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its al fresco dining terrace and dining area. The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the elegant venue with natural light, while the sleek and minimal décor makes it the chicest sky-high restaurant in London.

With a state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen, head chef Deon Jansen serves up contemporary Mediterranean flavours with immaculate presentation. Enjoy spiced venison ragu served with curly kale and parmesan, or scallops with fried coconut cake and tomato kasundi. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the josper grill, creating a rich BBQ flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining.

An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and their innovative ‘not afternoon tea’ menu offers a contemporary take on afternoon tea in London. A selection of themed desserts is served up with an expertly-paired cocktail, such as white chocolate parfait, accompanied by a dry chocolate cocktail.

With incredible views across the city, Oxo Tower Brasserie in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark Tube Station.

Wonderful ! Had only an hour to eat due to late concert and catching tube: explained this to the Maitre D who was amazing . He arranged for 4 of us to have a cocktail a 3 course meal ( great value at £30 a head) and bread and water ( free) were brought to us without being asked. We also chose some house red ( very good) . They also brought us some free icecream as it was our wedding anniversary. All within the hour. Excellent ambience , brilliant service and great views. Highly recommend .

This is nice place for a lunch, very busy, does lack the personal touch, table layout reminds you of a canteen. The staff are very professional, service is excellent. Menu offers a nice selection of fresh seasonal dishes but is expensive for lunchtime. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

With my three children we celebrated a general birthday get-together and meeting. Being Dad I choose where. We came from all parts South and found each other easily at the base of the Tower. We shot up the lift to be warmly greeted and shown to our table. The view from the table quite outstanding. So good that we had difficulty concentrating on the menu. When settled we took ages to consider a menu that offered so much. Proof of the fact was the two courses ordered were of exceptional value and taste. We all loved the offering and the service from charming attentive staff who even took our photograph. Altogether a very happy family experience blessed by very good food and wine. Thank you OXO for making a great day.

Excellent venue, great table with stunning view, fabulous cocktails, food all really good.
Service was friendly but irritatingly over enthusiastic at times; we arrived early and were seated 30 minutes before our reservation time.
The waiter started trying to get us to order as soon as we sat down. He backed off a bit eventually but commented several times that he 'had two big groups arriving shortly and was going to be very busy!' One glass was removed before the cocktail was finished (waiter in question immediately apologised and bought a replacement). Our plates were cleared away very promptly, at one point desert dishes were removed before one of our party had finished. This was rude!
We were not asked if we wanted coffee, just bought the bill straight after desert.
When we arrived we were informed the table was ours for two hours - we were there less time than this. That said, I would recommend Oxo Brasserie, we did enjoy ourselves and the food was great.

Food was average but I didn't have to cook it so it was great to be out. The service is fantastic and the location can't be beat. The wine was pricy but well worth it as it was delicious. We had a great time and we look forward to going back. Thanks to all those who looked after us! X

From arrival service was everything my friends and I could expect including the waiters and waitresses taking photos of our Party. The Food Sublime and excellent choices especially for the vegetarians amongst the table. We had opeted for the Summer Sunset menu in the Brasserie which was 3 courses and a seasonal cocktail for £30. The non alcoholic cocktail was as refreshing as the alcoholic version. There was sufficient time between courses for comfort and the two hour turnaround on the table was not a problem.

Really nice food and location. Very friendly waiting staff. Very well organised. Limited menu choice but we were on a set meal. The restaurant had a canteen atmosphere and was very busy and noisy. There were lots of pictures of blues artists on the wall and it would have been nice if the music played in the restaurant was in keeping with that but the music was more modern.
