More about OXO Tower Brasserie

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.

Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes which champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as tender Welsh lamb rump with artichokes, or sea bass with brown shrimps, spring greens and samphire. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.

Just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of delicious desserts includes lemon verbena jelly with cherry compote, bay leaf parfait, and mint and blackcurrant mousse.

OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

We had a wonderful welcome at the restaurant....service was fantastic, our lovely Lithuanian waiter was very attentive, yet unobtrusive. The views are spectacular... the sun was shining on us when we arrived... the lights over London and along the Thames shining as we left.
We were a party of three... two vegetarians and one pescatarian and had no shortage of delicious choices, as
there is a separate veg menu and vegan food is clearly marked. We made the difficult decision not to have starters, but to save ourselves for dessert. Our mains were the Lemon and ricotta ravioli, veg burrata, caponata, squash with artichoke emulsion and the whole sea bream.
I could recommend every dish! They were all presented beautifully and tasted delicious! Desserts were equally as amazing... our favourite being the sticky toffee pudding which was probably the best I've ever tried! And believe me I've sampled a few!!

I had forgotten how nice the Oxo Tower is. Food Excellent -the Pork was wonderful and everyone loved their food. When we arrived, the waiter took our order for snacks and drinks, and forgot to bring some of the items. They needed reminding a coupls of times. Apart from that, the service was friendly and charming anfd we all had a good time. Sharpen up on remembering what people want and it would be perfect!

We eat a lot in France so are experienced clients. It was a lovely meal and great staff. But some of the starters and the main courses were not hot enough. The puddings were delightful.

Everything but the table was great. We asked for the best table available when booking due to it being a 50th Wedding Anniversary and ended up next to the cutlery storage and payment desk. The restaurant table area is very tightly packed despite over half the restaurant being empty. Great staff and food but wouldn't use again for a special occasions due to the poor table allocation and layout.
