More about OXO Tower Brasserie

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its al fresco dining terrace and dining area. The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the elegant venue with natural light, while the sleek and minimal décor makes it the chicest sky-high restaurant in London.

With a state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen, head chef Deon Jansen serves up contemporary Mediterranean flavours with immaculate presentation. Enjoy spiced venison ragu served with curly kale and parmesan, or scallops with fried coconut cake and tomato kasundi. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the josper grill, creating a rich BBQ flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining.

An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and their innovative ‘not afternoon tea’ menu offers a contemporary take on afternoon tea in London. A selection of themed desserts is served up with an expertly-paired cocktail, such as white chocolate parfait, accompanied by a dry chocolate cocktail.

Offering incredible, sweeping views across the city, OXO Tower Brasserie in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark Tube Station.

It was my wife's birthday and we were given a great table, the service was impeccable, the atmosphere was just right, and the evening was very special for her.

The food was fresh, very tasty and served in good time. And the birthday sorbet was a very thoughtful touch. I won a lot of brownie points with my wife. Thank you!

I had booked online for 4 adults to dine in the Brasserie on Sunday lunchtime. The food was fine although we waited rather a long time between our first and main course. But the whole experience was marred by the intrusive live music -(an accordion and guitar) it was too loud and it was a struggle to hold a conversation. We mentioned this to the waiters who asked the musicians to 'tone it down' but in fact it made very little difference. In future I shall check by phone about such added 'attractions'.

on arrival the receptionist suggested we waited a few minutes for a indow table to come free- what a nice idea and this set the tone for the whole experience.Apart from the service and crowded tables which make the service tricky all else was excellent- food , ambience and what a view.

We dined at lunchtime and I have to say it was exceptional. The service was superb and the food cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice food and great view. Only gripe was that the waiter was less that impressed when we asked for tap water. As we were drinking plenty of wine, I've shouldn't have been made guilty about this

Apart from that, a lovely diner

It was a last minute booking, I was pleasantly surprised, the staff the experience was excellent, the only down side was the door to the balcony obviously stiff but should of had someone permanently there to close it.
we only had a main but it was delicious in taste and presentation.
