More about OXO Tower Brasserie

Perched on the 8th floor of Oxo Tower on London’s South Bank, Oxo Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its al fresco dining terrace and dining area. The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the elegant venue with natural light, while the sleek and minimal décor makes it the chicest sky-high restaurant in London.

With a state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen, head chef Deon Jansen serves up contemporary Mediterranean flavours with immaculate presentation. Enjoy spiced venison ragu served with curly kale and parmesan, or scallops with fried coconut cake and tomato kasundi. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the josper grill, creating a rich BBQ flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining.

An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and their innovative ‘not afternoon tea’ menu offers a contemporary take on afternoon tea in London. A selection of themed desserts is served up with an expertly-paired cocktail, such as white chocolate parfait, accompanied by a dry chocolate cocktail.

With incredible views across the city, Oxo Tower Brasserie in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark Tube Station.

Very pleasant but far too rushed. We had all three courses within the hour so certainly not relaxing. Food good, service very good. For a quick pre theatre dinner it works perfectly. I requested an outside table but got pretty well the worst in the restaurant - next to the service desk inside. A buzzing, noisy place.

The OXO Tower is an iconic resturant which occupies the London skyline on the Southside of the River; its probably the most imposing restaurant and is known for its views/buzz/atmosphere as opposed to its food; however the food is also superb. On this occasion we had the special summer menu which is 3 x Courses for £30.00 plus a seasonal Cocktail. As with all special offers the menu is slightly limited however the service, apapreance, execution of the dish is of the same standard as the normal menu which is double the price. The wine list is also supberb and the the views are still the best in London (with the exception of maybe the Chop House).

Intentionally we order a different item from each course and we were both pleased with the taste of the food, presentation and portions; the OXO Tower maybe a tad pricey however it is worth it, you always leave with the feeling "you have been on a good night out".

A 5 star experience all round. Food was amazing, pumpkin gnocchi melted in the mouth and the cocktail of vodka, lime and amaretto exquisite. We were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant, but as soon as a table became free by the window, we were moved over. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We had a reservation for 9pm which I felt was a little late (the only time slot I could get 4 weeks ago) but it was so worth it to see the beautiful buildings of London lit up. We also had live music with a lady singing smooth and sultry jazz. There was a set menu which was 3 courses plus a cocktail for £30, incredible value for money in the middle of London. All in al a spectacular evening, which j would recommend to anyone for any celebration, or even just to experience dining at the top of the world!

We had a lovely table on the terrace. The food was lovely and the waiter was cheeky which made for an enjoyable visit.
