More about OXO Tower Brasserie

Perched on the 8th floor of Oxo Tower on London’s South Bank, Oxo Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its al fresco dining terrace and dining area. The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the elegant venue with natural light, while the sleek and minimal décor makes it the chicest sky-high restaurant in London.

With a state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen, head chef Deon Jansen serves up contemporary Mediterranean flavours with immaculate presentation. Enjoy spiced venison ragu served with curly kale and parmesan, or scallops with fried coconut cake and tomato kasundi. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the josper grill, creating a rich BBQ flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining.

An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and their innovative ‘not afternoon tea’ menu offers a contemporary take on afternoon tea in London. A selection of themed desserts is served up with an expertly-paired cocktail, such as white chocolate parfait, accompanied by a dry chocolate cocktail.

With incredible views across the city, Oxo Tower Brasserie in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark Tube Station.

I enjoyed the food and drinks. Different options to a lot of set menus and very tasty. I ordered duck which we saw coming out for other people and it looked great, so my boyfriend switched from the salmon to that too. Absolutely delicious! Service was a little slow, but it was nice not to be rushed and they were very friendly. They also let me choose from the a la carte menu for dessert because all of their desserts had cream. Very busy for 6pm - mostly people on the bookatable deal! But as we were leaving a live guitar/voice duo began and I loved the music. It would have been great if they started earlier.

I actually LOVE this place. The food tastes great and view is seriously spectacular. Whether your going with a partner or on a date which is what its usually used for, or just out with your friends this place will definitely impress you. The service is also extremely good. When I first went there I fell in love with it and since then Ive gone back over 6 times in the last 2 months. Basically..... DEFINITELY WORTH YOU GOING, I'M SURE YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED

On the face of it the £30 for 3 course meal with cocktail is a really good deal but the food was really quite poor. The Thai chicken starter was very dry, the Salmon main was tepid and the vegetables likewise, and the confit of duck was also dry. It appeared like the chef was on holiday and left dishes to be heated up in his absence!. It is a shame because the person I took there had never been to the Oxo Tower before and based on other experiences I have had there myself, I raved about how wonderful the food. Based on this particular experience I would not recommend the Oxo to others but luckily I know it is so much better than that.

On the plus side, wonderful polite, professional service as always. Fabulous views of London twinkling in the night listening to some soft tinkly jazz (initially we were seated in the middle of the restaurant but were cheerfully moved to a window table when one came free) and my guest still felt she had a lovely experience.

Faultless, friendly service with fabulous food and a beautiful view over the Thames on a gloriously sunny evening - what more could you ask for?

Food was very good and tasty with a nice presentation. Staff were friendly and smiling and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We sat outside and it was quite windy but the view was simply amazing. I strongly recommend this brasserie!

Stunning setting, we dined on the terrace on a warm summer's evening, great welcoming cocktail, food didn't quite live up to the environs, undercooked salmon, unusual salad mix and no dressing, bland manchego, ok chips, banana bread never a winner even with a 'caramelia' (sic) mousse. It sounds like we didn't enjoy it but we loved it, would definitely go again.

Good food, helpful service and a very nice evening. Offer attractive but extras such as veg and potatoes ramped up the bill. Main courses particularly delicious, too much cream in Eton Mess.

We have been to the oxo a few times and loved it. Couldn't resist going again. The food and and service were brilliant. The cocktail which was included was so good we ordered another.
