Great and attentive service. We were over 30 minutes late but the restaurant kindly held the table for us. Food was exquisite and presentation well thought out. I had the white asparagus as a starter and the guinea fowl for my mains. The latter I felt was slightly over-salted but ever so slightly. However, the guinea fowl was incredibly tender and just melted in the mouth.

We booked well in advance for 2 people and on the day changed this to 4 .No problem at this stage. One of the 2 "extra" people was not feeling great on the day having just flown in from Vietnam.3 of us wanted the "tasting menu" and he just wanted something simple and was very willing to chose from the A La Carte menu . The head chef refused his request.and he was told in no uncertain way ,"tasting menu only".An argument took place with the head waiter and in the end our 4th guest simply said "I won't eat anything and I'll just have a drink. Please do not embarrass my friends any further". Later on ,a lesser waiter took pity on our guest and provided him with a small cheese selection .
We understand the concept of tasting menus being for the whole table BUT there should be some flexibility. Our guest was not demanding an alternative meal of considerable complex. He was somewhat tired and not feeling his best and just wanted to eat something plain and simple ,even to the extent of just one course.

On a brighter note ,the tasting menu was delicious but our evening was spoiled by the inflexible experience. Restaurants are not ALL about the food.

Excellent as always. Took advantage of special offer tasting menu for lunch. Makes what would be very expensive down to the merely expensive. But worth every penny.

This is one of our favourite restaurants and continues to impress in terms of the food. This time we noticed some enhanced flavours using apricots for pork, lemon thyme for deserts.

The food here is exceptional;subtle flavours,beautifully presented and the three courses were rounded off with brilliant petit fours. The wine list is extensive but expensive as most fine dining establishments are in their mark-up.Service was slow,almost painfully so,and lacked the finesse expected.
