The meal was excellent and the service attentive but not intrusive. You were made to feel comfortable and not a commodity, which does not always happen in restaurants today.

The food here is exceptional;subtle flavours, beautifully presented and the three courses were rounded off with brilliant petit fours. The wine list is extensive but expensive as most fine dining establishments are in their mark-up.Service was slow, almost painfully so,and lacked the finesse expected.

We arrived at 6.30 and were given a choice of seating - main restaurant or quiet area - nice touch. We opted for the main dining area which had a very friendly buzz. All tables were occupied with couples. We found the staff extremely friendly and knowledgable about both the food and wine. We decided on the a la carte menu, and we were not disappounted. There was a good choice, however it catered only for a starter and main course - the choice to have a starter or dessert would have been a more preferable option for us. Overall an extremely pleasant experience.

This was our first visit and would definitely visit again. We all (four of us) had a fantastic night which was made all the more special because everyone was treated with respect. once or twice a year we visit London and wow its worth it thanks to all the staff.
We enjoyed ourselves so much the time ran away with us! when it was time to leave we needed a taxi the sous chef ran down the road found one after about 5 mins delivered it to the door, then jumped on his bike after obviously a long day to make his way home.He did not give us enough time to say a proper thank you what a great guy
