Chose this restaurant for a pre-theatre meal and was not disappointed. Service was really good and all four diners enjoyed the food we had from the fixed menu.

Atmosphere very pleasant, staff efficient, friendly & helpful and food good.
We were surprised, however, to see 15% service on the lunch bill, which we thought excessive! However it was adjusted to 10% immediately when we objected.
So, all in all, a very pleasant lunch. I would certainly recommend the Harlequin.

I met a friend for lunch. The location is excellent for the Holborn/Kingsway area and east Covent Garden. The dining room is spacious, so that one can hear oneself speak. It is also comfortable with traditional table linen. The food came within a reasonable time and our salmon was fine as were our starters. We were using the Bookatable deal of two courses and a glass of wine for £17 - excellent value, athough we substituted cranberry juice for the wine. Not trendy, but tasteful - ideal spot for a quiet lunch with a chance to talk. Service was friendly and prompt.

Very empty on a Monday evening so a lack of atmosphere. But service, food and wine was very good and excellent value on the Bookatable deal. The only grumble was the 15% service charge was too high,

Really nice lunch at a reasonable price. Remember anything outside of whats included in the deal is extra!

Very good value for money for 2 courses and a glass of wine for £15.

The food was okay but nothing special. London has high standards and this is ordinary.

Very good if you are on a deal and staying at the Drury Lane Travelodge (Covent Garden London.)

A hotel dining room can never be described as cosy but with a warm welcome and excellent service it provided the perfect venue for a quiet dinner where you don't end up raising your voice in order to be heard above the noise. The food was excellent and good value for money. I would definitely go again.
