The food was very good. However, the restaurant itself is small and all tables are very close to each other.

Set right next to where I used to work, Arbutus is an unassuming restaurant from the outside, but very different inside. It was hot on the day we dined, but the airconditioning made the experience pleasant. The lady greeting us as we arrived was friendly and passed us onto an equally friendly waitress. The starter of warm crisp pig's head was amazing, as was the slow cooked lamb main. However, the time between the starter and the main course for a lunch session was too slow and our expectations weren't managed (hence why they lose a star). Apart from that the experience was faultless and I will certainly be returning again.
