Great American style food with a vibrant atmosphere but you need to like a brash, noisy place to really enjoy it.

The manager puts a 15% service charge on all bills which I object to, a tip should be at the dinners option not a greedy managers. Why do I say greedy? One of the staff told me only 40% goes to the staff, the rest, well who knows, the company keeps or perhaps it's the managers perk?

If you object, do as I did, knock the service charge off the payment and give the waitress a cash tip!

We dined last Sunday 29th January 2012 to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was our first visit, my son having found the restaurant via a search engine. Very easy to find, excellent decor throughout with Rolling Stones memorabilia everywhere - allow extra time to wander round and take everything in! Excellent, very attentive waiting staff including customer services who were extremely helpful as both of my adult sons have a visual impairment, we were pre-seated in an area of our choice and even had birthday balloons on our table without requesting them. Although the food was of a good standard, I would not consider it exceptional although I have to add that my daughter-in-law had cause to complain about her meal and the manageress personally visited our table and had no hesitation in deducting the cost of the meal from our bill. All things considered - we would definitely visit the restaurant again.

Bottles beer was warm as they had just bottled up. My fish was 'high' you could smell it through the banana leaf and when it was removed the whole table could smell it. Manager said it smelt fine to him, but replaced is with an overdone steak. Service was slow and manager kept having to remind waitress to clear our tables. Bill was large and Disabled toilets are downstairs.

We dined at 8.30pm on a Friday evening, despite being busy the staff were quick and efficient, the food arrived quickly and was great.

We arrived at 5pm for a 6 pm meal - this meant missing the rush hour commuters..... it also allowed us and the children to have a relaxing cocktail (brilliant Kids ones.... great adult ones)before the bar got busy. Every member of staff were bubbly and pleased to welcome us. The decor was a celebration of the Rolling Stones - the music really set a wonderful atmoshere.The food choice is outstanding, the price unbelievable... 4 cocktails, a bottle of wine and kids drinks, 4 quality meals = [$].... take the drinks off and you are looking at [$] an adult meal (with free drinks options). The staff - French Tom was always over ensuring everything was great.... and it was. A must for all visitors who wish to relax in Bill Wymans joint!The Dysons - Leeds
