Food was good, desert could be little better, the chocolate fondue was far too dry..more like a chocolate Brownie than a fondue, it was fresh but far from gue in the middle as a good Foundue should be,Otherwise a good food

Great food, great price. Service friendly. We had to wait for the table but there were seats in the winebar in the basement so that was ok.

Dined at 5.45 pre-theatre.Starters very good .Waited 1 hour for main course despite asking 3 times .The egg with the haddock was overcooked and leathery , and had obviously been standing around . We had ordered seasonal vegetables-we asked for them 2 times and they eventually arrived half way through the meal .The rest of the meal was very rushed .A very disappointing dinner!

Had dinner there with a group pf friends last night and although the restaurant has a nice decor with a great atmosphere the food was an absolute let down. Had the crab tian for starter and there was hardly any crab mostly crayfish and bread croutons which came as part of the dish were so hard we had touse our steak knives to cut them, they were definitely not the kind of bread you would expect from a French restaurant! Had the pumpkin pappardelle for mains and it was extremely bland, my friends had the duck breastband the other had the chicken Brest and they both felt that the food wasn't great. Overall it's a nice place but unfortunately I felt like I would have had better French food at chez Gerard!

Made a booking with a friend for a light lunch, really cool little joint in Soho. Had cheese filled Tequeños which were had a great outer texture, The cheese flavour cut through the lush dipping sauce which contained just the right amount of heat.

On to the Ceviche, as I said, it was a light lunch so we shared the Don ceviche. beautiful sea base with a lime dressing that packed a punch. Everything tasted very clean and fresh.

The some chicken Skewers, the meat was most and the Amarillo sauce was tangy which cut through the tacu tacu which is served alongside it.

Only gripe was the long wait for the skewers, sure it was a one off so will return.

My friend and I booked a table at 13:00 so we could have a nice lunch before our matinee theatre show. We ran into two other friends on the tube and invited them along to lunch. The restaurant was very accomadating to change the reservation for us. The service was decent enough, though it was hard to understand some of the staff. We had the two course special and the food was average. I had salmon as a starter, which was nice and ravioli for my main. I have no complaints on how the food tasted, I just wasn't blown away by it.

I went to this resturant after seeing the website and reading the reviews. it looked really nice and the menu was appitizing.

It was a Saturday night after a few drinks elsewhere we went to dine.

We started with a few almonds and olives, when I say a few I think there was about 8 of each. The olives were great and the almonds were straight out of a bag not warm or flavoured in any way, which is fine and I like them but for the price I did not expect this.

I ordered the french onion soup which tasted like a bowel of sugar it was so sweet, I could not eat more than the original tasting spoon. I passed it on to my friends to try only for them to make a face that was like they just took a bite from a lemon, this was sent back a full bowl, with no comment from the waiter other than "you finished".

My partner had the scollops, there were two scollops which were tasty, but extreamly small portion.

My friend had the classic steak tartae which again was tiny, but tasty.

Then the main. I had the rack of lamb, which was three cutletts. I dont expect much meat with lamb cutletts but I think they were the smallest and thinnest ones I have ever seen.

There was some rather tastless sauce with this and they sat on some olives and obergines which were not great, nothing else came with this. To have an appitite only to see three poor excusses for cutlets arrive in front of you looking so lonley was a real let down.

Both my friend and partner had the venison, which they said wasnt bad but they both coplained on the portion size saying "this wolud be a good size for a starter".

All in all this put a soure taste in our mouths we all left unsatisfied and had spent good money for the exerience.

We said something to the head waitress who did the bill, and I quote "you can't please everyone".

I wold reccommend this place only to people with to much money and have just eaten and fancy only a glass of wine.

I must say the website reviews which have comments from diners or more accuratly owners or staff. because when I went to write this rather unflattering review you cannot post only read. Good thinking.
