Afternoon tea was wonderful. Perfect location and exceptional value for money. Can't ask better than that.

We couldn't find the hotel at first as our sat nav had sent us the long way round so we were late. However, this wasn't a problem at all. The staff were friendly and helpful. As it was a 21st birthday treat, they were kind enough to give to give the birthday girl a beautiful slice of cheesecake. The food was delightful. An afternoon to remember.

We went to the hotel for afternoon tea. It was served in the restaurant, which has pleasant colors, but might lack a little ambience for an afternoon tea. The staff was great - friendly, attentive and helpful. When the tea we had ordered wasn't to our liking, we got to change without any hassle. The food was OK. The sandwiches standard, the scones with clotted cream great. There were 4 other small pastries - 1 macaroon and 3 others (all bite size). 2 of them were rather sweet and non descriptive. Not sure I would book again as there are so many other better offers out there.

Booked for afternoon tea. Whilst the food was excellent, I felt it was expensive for the amount we had, even with the 30% online booking discount. Their coffee machine was not working, so only Americano available. The scones were very small, and not many sandwiches. Having said that, it was presented well and the service was very good.

The afternoon tea was acceptable for a discounted offer. However, it certainly was not up to the standard set by many other suppliers of afternoon tea.
The sandwiches were OK but nothing special. There were no other savory food offered. Only one scone was provided each. All other afternoon tea'set provide two each.
The cream was nice and sufficient for one scone each.
The cakes were rather uninteresting and small.
Compared with something like the tea at the Sandersons Hotel or the Cafe Royal this was way below par. Both the Cafe Royal and The Sandersons hotel charge only a few £ more for a tea that scores 10 out of 10.
For a discounted price the Hilton scores 5 out of 10.
For the full price of £34.50 it would score just 2 out of 10.
I would not book afternoon tea here again. The service was but wel below that offered by other estabishments who provide afternoon tea.

It was a lovely champagne afternoon tea. But a small point, everything was put on the table at the same time - it would have been better if the tea had not been brought at the same time as the champagne as we didn't want to drink the tea until after the champagne, and by the time we had eaten the sandwiches the warm crumpets were cold. I didn't ask for them to be replaced as I was treating 2 elderly family members so did not want to make a fuss.

Great New Year's Eve menu.
Attentive, corteous staff.
Well-presented, delicious chicken with avocado puree as starter, salmon and sea bass as mains, + chocolate fudge looks sweet but not actually so we managed to finish it off.Champagne tastes great.Wonderful first dinner at Double Tree by Hilton at 2 Bridge Place, Victoria.
