It was such a lovely place. The staff were very welcoming, our food came promptly. The food was amazing, loved it all so much. My fiancé vouched that the pepper corn sauce that came with his steak was the best he'd ever tasted! Overall a great experience and would definitely go back.

It was my wife's birthday and this restaurant and deal had been recommended to me by my sister. All I can say is that she didn't exaggerate everything was excellent and we will definitely be going back.

Enjoyed it, had the deal of £25 for 3 courses & glass champagne. Good variety of choices with option to upgrade. All enjoyed their meals. Very attentive staff, at some points a little too attentive / hovering. Had requested table for longer than the two hours specified, which was honoured.

Took my wife to this very tidy little restaurant a couple of minute's walk from Liverpool Street station. Warm welcome from friendly and attentive staff, although the overly repetitive approach to pouring our wine was an indiscreet 'you must buy more' signpost we could have done without. Decent enough crab and parfait starters with tasty bread. A superb rump main for both us; good quality cut of meat and the green beans we ordered on the side were melt in the mouth. My cheesecake was standard and finished the meal nicely, but my wife felt the sticky toffee pudding was a little too sickly for her tastes. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the food and the room had a vibrant atmosphere all evening. On the negative side, I wouldn't miss the piped in music if it was removed, since I don't think the room needs it and 4 quid for a bottle of still water...come on Marco! That's just cynical. Complimentary water on tables should be a given in 2016, in my humble opinion of course.
