We had a nice dinner and were totally stuffed after 4 courses (beef tasting), however felt like something was slightly lacking the whole night.
Venue was full of other couples on the same deal, was just quite a functional space set up to churn out this 4 course meal. Music was a bit pop-y and loud, and they only turned the lights down towards the end of our meal (boyfriend said it felt like he'd been sitting in McD's the whole time).
Food came out much faster than we would have liked, and sides which were definitely overpriced at £5 each for what they were though the dishes themselves were tasty. I had to send my steak tartare back as all I could taste was Tabasco or some spicy tomato sauce they used rather than letting the fresh meat speak for itself. Service was faultless though, very friendly, made no fuss about the tartare and even tasted and agreed themselves.
We realised quite quickly though that this is just a functional steakhouse resto that has found a formula to turn tables and uses a well know chef's name to draw people in, like the Jamie's chains... good if you're looking for no fuss and okay-ish value, not so good if you're a foodie.

Gorgeous food but felt very rushed. We were booked for 6.45pm, had arrived at 6pm to have a drink at the bar first but as our table was ready took that, planning to have a nice relaxed drink first. By 7pm we had the dessert menu in our hands, menus were presented to us briskly, food came very quickly and empty plates were whipped away before you'd swallowed your last mouthful.

A shame as the food is amazing, but this was off putting and we had to ask them to slow down to have a break before our dessert.

We were sent a loyalty card before going by a very helpful girl on the phone, sadly no-one seemed sure what to do with it when we presented it to collect our points, being told that we couldn't have discount, which was slightly embarrassing and not what we'd asked for.

This was our 2nd visit here and we've also dined in the Chelsea branch, I'm afraid to say that had this been our first experience we wouldn't have returned. Fortunately we've had 2 amazing experiences so know this isn't the normal.

Wouldn't go again and wouldn't recommend. Definitely not worth the trip to London.

We had the set menu, £25 for 3 courses and a class of champagne. With a drink each, sides and water, it actually came to over double that so beware about that. The food itself was great, the steak was one of the best my partner has ever had in the UK. The amount of food is more than you get in a lot of the posher restaurants and we were full to the brim after the meal! We didn't feel rushed and had a lovely meal.

Had booked a 4 course steak taster menu. We were shown to our table about 15 minutes late. Not a huge problem but not what I expected. Food was pretty good. Service was slow though. Also felt like they had more important tables to attend to as when our food did come it was plonked on the table, rather the usual care and attention.

This is the third time we have dined here and it is always excellent. The service is top rate and the food is superb. What I also like is we are never rushed, it is very laid back and there is a nice atmosphere.
