I loved it! I went on Friday night with my friend, the food was very good for only [$] they also have happy hour until 8pm so my drinks were half price. We stayed until 1am and used the dance floors.

We visited the restaurant on an offer, Tuesday evening at 18:00. The food was very good and also good value for money. The service was pleasant, although a few issues around leaning over food when eating etc that should be avoided. The restaurant also had no music, so could very much hear other diners talking, although they were talking very loud!

Overall a pretty disappointing experience.

We sat down and it was a long time before anyone came and even gave us a menu. When that happened we were given the wrong menu (it was supposed to be the special offer lunch menu, not the full menu) and it took a very long time before I could get anyone's attention to fix this. We were not asked for drinks orders until after we had ordered food.

When the starters came there was one short so I had to wait for mine to be cooked while everyone else was eating. You would think that the waitress would notice a table of 9 and only 8 starters noted down. We also had to ask for tap water twice.

The food itself was definitely average. My main was sausage and mash. The sausages tasted OK but you could tell it wasn't a good quality banger. The mash was not lumpy but had a texture like smash. It can't have been freshly made.

All this considered, we thought it was a bit cheeky to automatically add the service charge to the bill as we would not have paid it given the choice.

I overheard that other tables were having problems with the service as well... at least we weren't alone!

The food might as well have been bought from a corner shop a few streets over and prepared in a microwave, the service was terrible (and I'd like to add that when we went there, it was virtually empty) and the drinks are way overpriced. Our bill came to [$] for poor quality food (2 x [$] "deals") and TWO drinks (1 large glass of wine and a pint), which is ridiculous. If you are starving, low on money and not planning on having a glass of wine, go here because then you will probably enjoy it... otherwise, I would use my taste card and get 2 for 1 starters and mains plus a bottle of wine at delicious recognized chains for the same price somewhere else. [$] pounds for 3 courses did sound a little too good to be true, but we both felt like it was a big let down and a bit of a scam after all the hype we had heard about this place.

Having received an email from Bookatable.com featuring a [$] star deal in the Loop, I decided to give it a go and booked it for 7pm on Valentine's night. From the get go, the service was fantastic, we were taken care of the moment we stepped into the building. Also, they had a happy hour still going, so we got some lovely drinks half price. The only problem was the loud annoying pop music blasting from the walls - I know the Loop is also a bar and a night club, but it wasn't really helping to create a romantic atmosphere...The set menu looked nice, more or less what we expected after looking at the sample menu on the website. Ordering was nice and easy going. Finally we got our food. Starters were very tasty, no fireworks but certainly a fair value for money. The mains, however, were quite disappointing. My mash tasted like it was from a packet, and mixed with margarine rather than butter. My partner's food wasn't much better with mushy peas obviously microwaved and completely dry on top and the chips a bit soggy. Dessert was ok, but would be much better if the ice cream didn't have so many ice crystals in it...All in all the food was a fair value for money. However, I do hope that without the 'star deal' they would not charge more. It was a bit disappointing, as with 'star deals' I came to expect a special offer of really good food at bargain price to attract new clientele. Not in here, though. That food would be ok as a bar food (even though I had better) but certainly not as a restaurant food. I might go back for those lovely drinks and small bites, like our starters, but not for a full meal, I think.

Great service and quality of food, i actually ate here twice in one day. We had a table booked for dinner around 5pm and have a lovely 3 course meal. The menu was varied and they were more than happy to make adjustments to the set dishes to suit our likes and dislikes. The food arrived promptly and the oresentation was great. The staff were very conscious of our table and were very much there to help at all times. Afterwards we stayed at the venue and took advantage of the bars that they had on offer for us to enjoy. Around 2am i noticed food on a table and realised they still had a bar menu open for food, needless to say all us girls had a pizza and chips before going home again, much better that anything else you can find at that time of night.
