Our afternoon tea was very good and the food was delicious. It's different from ordinary afternoon tea as it served other savoury such as warm tarts and mini toasted rather than only sandwiches. The cakes and scones were lovely too.
The service was attentive and the ambience was relaxed and not stuffy given the location. My only gripe is that I prefer tea with tea leave not in tea bag. After all it's a formal afternoon tea

Really enjoyed our afternoon tea! I liked the different take on the savoury items, like ham and cheese toasties. It was nice to be able to choose between a cocktail or a glass of champagne! Plus it was a 241 offer!!! What more could you ask for?

Fabulous afternoon tea with a good range of sandwiches and cakes, warm scones and lovely macaroons. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly and efficient service. Staff were helpful and accommodated our allergy needs effectively. Presentation of tea was awesome! Worth advising a glass of champagne - very good value!

Second visit to Petrichor on the three course menu offer. This time the food was very good except the main course salmon dish was bland with over cooked pak choi. Also the plates for the main course could have been hotter. Service excellent, and it is a very nice dining room. Very well situated for central London

This was our second visit to Petrichor and it did not disappoint. Courteous, efficient service and lovely quiet corner to eat and converse. Excellent value at £27 a head. Food beautifully presented - loved the chocolate and raspberry pud with peanut butter icecream.

Very average starters and main courses. Especially fish dishes were disappointing (we had trout as one of the starters and salmon as one of main dishes) - ready fish from Aldi are two leagues higher. Tagliatelle was not much better. Desserts were ok, though not mind-blowing. I struggled to find sea salt and rosemary in chips with sea salt and rosemary. To be fair, the service was kind. The atmosphere of the place was the nicest aspect thanks to which we enjoyed the conversation and relaxed there, but that by no means compensates for the quality of food.
