Varied menu with plenty of fresh ingredients, seafood and pasta options. Good reasonably priced wine list, fist rate and charming service and pretty good value for money.

Lunch time on a Thurs. 3 friends catching up. Tasty food, reasonably priced. Quiet, friendly, good service.

I had a very nice lunch: tuna and salmon tartare, with home-made pickles and fresh horseradish cream, lobster (native) with fresh pasta, chilli, garlic, tomato and interesting micro basil.
Very good salted peanut icecream. Service could improve.

This is the 4th or 5th time I have had lunch here and the food varies from Average to good on each occasion. It is a little overpriced for the quantity of food, unless you go for sides, which then puts it into the too expensive bracket.
Yesterday our waitress obviously had something on her mind which led to a quite unfriendly, rather rude approach.
I have given the food a good rating because have had good food in the past, howevr, comparing it with other similar restaurants in London it is only average generally.

Not a great dining destination for a Monday evening. It appears that we were served reheated leftovers from lunchtime. The food was dried out and did not taste fresh. Not good value for money.

Went for lunch with a business colleague. Very disappointed at the food choice on the menu. I have a wheat allergy and there were no starters that I could have, and the restaurant was not willing to make me a starter as it 'wouldn't go through their till'. Then we ordered a side dish of steamed veg with our mains. After asking for them 3 times, they eventually arrived at the end of our meal with no apology. I have dined at far better restaurants.

We had a main course lunch with coffee afterwards (no wine) and it was £47 for two. A bit pricey as the venue is more rustic than refined dining. The food (fish) lacked seasoning, but was cooked perfectly.

Would go there again as convenient and service was good enough to be in and out quickly if you are short of time.

We had dinner around 6:30pm and were seated in the dining area behind the bar as requested. The food was lovingly prepared, tasty and fresh. The waiting staff were atttentive, but not overbearing. The atmosphere was vibrant but not over the top, so conversations were possible without raising your voice. Thoroughly enjoyable and somewhere I frequently recommend and always enjoy.

The bar can get the teensiest bit noisy when full, but the staff are great and the bar service is top notch.
Food is simple, but great. If there are any problems, then management are straight on it and get things sorted immediately.
