I booked a table for 12.30 lunch, the staff were very attentive and very friendly, in my opinion there was a limited but enjoyable menu I would have loved to sample the extensive wine list but I was driving! Would recommend for couples, business lunches but maybe not suitable for younger children.

Excellent April Supper Club Menu

Dined on a Friday early evening. Place was packed but still excellent service and top quality food.Check out the new Supper Club menu, for April only, [$] for 3 courses and a cocktail on arrival..Absolutely top notch, you just cannot go wrong for the quality at this price.Can highly recommend the lamb samosa starter and the gourmet burger main.Eton Mess was wonderful to finish.

We arrived 5 mins before our allotted time and greeted by a warm smile and taken to our table, we were given a few minutes to get ourselves settled and then offered our afternoon tea, which was perfectly adequate. It was my mother in laws 83rd Birthday and the waitress took a genuine interest in her which made my mother in law feel special. Thanks you for making another part of her birthday special

Sister's birthday lunch

We dined at lunchtime as this was more convenient for us. The staff were friendly, attentive without being 'in your face'.
The food was delicious, the wine reccommended complimented the food.
We didn't feel hurried so had a leisurely time and the staff brought a special treat for it being my sister's birthday. It was a nice touch and she was thrilled.

Service was excellent but the restaurant was relatively quiet, so not tested under pressure.
The tables were pleasingly placed well away from one another.
Lighting was discreet but bright enough to read the menu without having to struggle.

The food was absoultely delicous. If i was to
have any complaints it would be that the
lemon drizzle cake just did not last long
enough. The view of the manchester wheel from
our table was amazing. The staff was attentive
and very friendly. We all had a lovely meal
and will defiantly be returning.

The standard of service was disappointing. The sandwiches and cakes were pleasant enough but I then had to ask for the tea as after 10 minutes it still hadn't been served. There wasn't a very good atmosphere in the resturant as there were only 3 tables occupied. This may be why we were neglected by the waiting staff.

I took my Mum for champagne afternoon tea for her birthday. The food was excellent as were the drinks. Unfortunately the service was a disappointment. We constantly needed to summon waiting staff as they didn't come to take our order or bring us our tea. We were also told when we finally requested our tea that they were busy with other orders at the bar so we'd have to wait...Enough said!
