One of the best places for a Sunday roast in Clapham, the roast beef was lovely. Very buzzy and full at the weekends so worth booking.

Took my daughter and her fiancee out to lunch. The restaurant is near their flat in Clapham and was surprizeingly good value in a trendy area. Very friendly service and good food.

Had a meal last Saturday evening, which essentially was rather pricey for what was got; food was not amazing. The restaurant is not sizeable, yet diners were packed into the rafters, making for an intense, in your face environment rather than a chilled, relaxing one that was sought. It seems the management are more intent on making £s than ensuring the client experience is so positive, people would want to return. We won't be. I had booked a table in advance, yet the one we were assigned was literally next door to our neighbours on the one side and the entrance on the other. Not ideal. We were moved to the bar area, [...] uncomfortable all round, the seats and lack of leg room. A very disappointing experience all round for a Valentines meal (:-

Took my daughter for Sunday Lunch as the online menu looked great & it had great reviews.
We all ordered the roast - we both had the beef & my daughter the pork.
The meats were lovely but the veg were VERY al dente - much too hard for my liking!
Altogether, we were disappointed with the meal so didn't feel it was good value for money.

The best ever Sunday Roast, great food, efficient service (if not always the most friendly), very good wine list and busy bar. Have also eaten here in the evening and really good fish and chips and excellent juicy burgers with loads of taste (the fries are top!)
Always rammed so makes senses to book. Supsect that the staff arent that engaging as they always seem to be rushed off their feet - can't fault the service for speed and accuracy though.

Food was lovely, but when I arrived there was no verbal confirmation that they had my booking. waitress just walked away - began to realise she was taking us to a table. no comments made from her. was odd. also when we arrived another couple pushed in front of us, the waitress showed them to their table, and then walked past us and didn't say anything. would have been helpful, if she had briefly acknowledged us with a nod and said, I will be with you in a minute. Usually good, service. don't know why this happened. was enough to make me reconsider going back.
