We had a flawless experience eating at the Rib room, our waiter Hayri was incredible and nothing was too much trouble for him. We didn't have to wait long for the table, and the waiter knew the menu like the back of his hand including being able to give advice on what to order when I required his help to make a decision. The food was nicely presented and the quality of the food was immense. On the whole we will be back to eat at the rib room again :)

The service at Rib Room was a very high standard, very friendly and attentative. I had the Smoked Quail breast for starter, which was delicious and the flavours were complimenting. For mains I chose the Aberdeen Angus rump of beef and it was cooked beautifully medium-rare as I requested. Great flavours and textures, and quite filling! The piece de resistance was the Apple crumble soufflé, I could tell the chefs kept a high quality of service & food as I was advised that they had to make a second one as the first soufflé wasn't to their standards. It was very good to know that the chefs would only serve the best quality to their customers. Using the London Restaurant Festival menu was also very good value for money, as we ate high quality food but with a reasonable price. I would definitely go back again for the soufflé, it's probably the best I'll ever eat!

I haven't been to the Rib Room for dinner in years. The last time I went, the decor was red leather chairs, wood panelling and very "men's" club. It is now a sleek elegant restaurant, with a lovely bar along one wall. The food was very good: the wine we chose - Chablis- was perfectly chilled and the service was suitably attentive. I'd like to try it for lunch next time.

The venue is very nice and the service is very good however the food is over-priced for waht you receive and the wine list/drinks menu is as expected but not exceptional.

By far, the highlight is the cigar and whisky menu.

Found the restaurant charged more than expected. £10 for steak was fine but then had to pay for potatoes!

We arrived at around 7pm on a thursday night and it was a little on the quiet side, but by 8pm the restaurant had become a lot busier and has a nice buzz about it. The decor and furnishings are old fashioned but very grand and becoming.

The service was a little bit slow and surly, but the staff were polite, helpful, and very professional.

The food was truly delicious and both my partner and I loved every bite. They were very generous with the bread too bringing us a second basket after we'd finished the first. The petit fours (chocolate truffles) after the meal were scrumptious too!

The restaurant is in a great location too, just a short walk for Harvey Nichols and the tube station.

I would definitely recommend it and would love to return in the future.
