We came for dinner at 8 on a Thursday. The restaurant was not crowded but the service was the worst I have ever known in a London restaurant. The waiters seemed totally untrained. No food arrived until after 9. One main course was 15 minutes late and undercooked. One dish (a salad) never arrived. The maitre d's apologies were cack-handed and did not help. The food which arrived was OK, some quite good.

Four of us had a very pleasant evening in surroundings where we could talk and be heard. The food was of a very high quality, and the service excellent, pleasant and efficient without being too solicitous. The salt baked sea bass was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were exceedingly well prepared. I did not try the Italian cheeses but they looked unusual and interesting - something for next time.

booked 5.45. arrived 5.30p.m. enjoyed aperitefs after warm welcome and studying menue. asked about special meal of the day, if included in Tesco rewards, told no, attitude and service were noticibly declined and slower after this disclusure, Asked for sweet menu after excellent meal, and waited over approx 20 minutes for order to be taken, Asked for bill, left without sweets or coffie and digestives. We did not wish to get to theatre late which was some distance away, and we were visitors to London.- Sadly it spoiled my evening a bit, as a family we are unable to be together often, and this should of been a celebration meal, The food was excellent but the service deplorable, and was noticed by all family members how it changed after disclosing we were goin to use Tesco reward vouchers in part payments.

We dined at 8pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant was not busy. The waiters kept making mistakes with our order, so service was poor. The music was strange and the sound system got stuck at one point. The food was ok, but at the end of the meal we saw a mouse run out of the kitchen!! How terrible for a restaurant!

4 friends and I ate here as part of the London Restaurant Week deal, which was 2 courses for [$] Looking at the full price menu, the deal should have been a real bargain but the overly invasive service and almost unedibly bad food left me reluctant to pay even that. From the moment we walked in we felt that they had no intention of giving us the same meal experience they perhaps would, were we not on the set price deal. Our fish was clearly stale and going off, it smelt awful and was a grey/green colour. They messed up our order and forgot side dishes. They squeezed us onto a table for four which presented real problems when it came to actually eating. All in all, it was a shockingly bad experience and had it not been for easily embarassed friends, I would have refused to pay outright. If you are going to treat diners on speacial deals with such contempt then don't bother offering the deals in first place. I won't be going back and will be discouraging as many others as possible.
