Dined here for my son's graduation lunch. Food was excellent, service friendly - a really enjoyable event for us all.

food was nice, and service was keen but no atmosphere and felt like the staff wanted to get rid of us. Wouldn't go there again as didn't feel it was value for money.

We went pre theatre it was fairly busy and we got a spacious table by the window. The staff were very nice and helpful and the food and wine very good value. We will go back again with our family

Food very good, except that what was described as Eton Mess in the menu contained neither frech fruit nor merangue

As regular diners in Londons establishments I can honestly say thet the servive or lack of it was appalling. Entering the restaurant we wanted to sit outside and informed the waitress. Waiting for 10 minutes no one appeared. We had to go in twice more to get the menu. When the wiatress eventually came she put the cutlery and napkins down on a dirty table not even clearing the bits of rubbish left by the previous customers. Requesting she clean the table she went and brought a cloth to clean but did not do it properly leaving dirty stains on the table. Her manner was couldn't care less. It was such a depressing experience we left.

They try to give you the small tables; insist on a banquette seat.

I visited the restaurant on a Wednesday at 6pm for a pre theatre meal with my daughter. I found the restaurant value for money, fair food with large portions. I was disappointed with the service, as the lady manager, who greeted us on arrival seemed put out we were having the set menu, was impatient when taking our drinks order and unhelpful when I asked for assistance with the wine list. We only saw the waitress when being served our food, although it was not busy. The remainder of the time they stood around chatting and certainly did not deserve the 12 1/2% service charge. Unlikely I will return, as many other better more friendly restaurants in the area.

I dined with friends at 7.30 p.m. and it was relatively quiet. I have dined here on many occasions at lunch time and it can be very busy. It is best to telephone re availability. Always friendly and welcoming.
