It was a set Valentine's menu and I'm often dubious of set menus, but the food was of excellent quality and variety, especially good since we were eating the vegetarian option. We ate at 8.00pm on Valentines Day and the service was still quick friendly and efficient. I will definitely be returning.

Curved banquette seating, sleek mirrors and warm parquet floors make Cicada a chic, mellow spot for dining in fashionable Clerkenwell. The stylish menu of pan-Asian fusion food, served from the open kitchen, is equally tasty, with dim sum and tempura plus spicy curries and barbeque specials. After eating, the buzzy mixed media crowd spills out of the restaurant to prop up the lively bar, or relax outside before heading downstairs to the club room.
