Four of us dined at 6p.m. after a day in London. The Reserved table was ready for us and laid up with nicely starched white napkins and very clean cutlery (a must to please my hygiene standards). The waiter and waitress were pleasant and we were able to make jokes with them. The food was well presented, well cooked and hot. The service of food was quick without one feeling you were being rushed nor cast aside in favour of the very large and noisy drinks party also within the restaurant area.

Overall the restaurant was a bit dated. Staff lovely. Main course: please put veg on separate dishes - too much food on one plate is too overpowering. If you advertise Pork Medallions then provide Medallions & NOT Pork Steak.

I've been coming to Taro's (mainly the Wine Bar) for over 30 years. It's a fantastic place - mainly thanks to Luciano and his amazing hospitality. We used to drink here at lunchtime when I was working and had dinner with friends in the evening. Now I no longer work in London I still make a point of coming here with friends whenever possible. Luciano is VERY generous and always gives you an extra glass of wine, coffee, or liqueur. A brilliant place.

We booked for a 17.30 "pre-Show" (Prince Edward Theatre) dinner and it was quiet inside, although there were diners outside. The food was superb, quickly served to cater for "show goers", and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Started to fill as we left for our show - we will definitely return.

We dined early evening on Saturday last, a group of seven friends. The table was well located, the food was consistently good, over three courses, and the service was consistently simpatico. The staff were attentive, without being intrusive. The atmosphere was vibrant as there was a mix of tables, small groups and couples. This restaurant is nicely suitable for the long lunch/dinner and the mature person who enjoys eating out.
