I had mentioned during the online booking that we were driving to Oxford to take our daughter out for Canadian Thanksgiving, and hinted that pumpkin pie would be lovely if available, although I wasn't really serious. When we arrived a very sweet waitress told us that unfortunately they had not managed to get us pumpkin pie , however throughout the meal we were brought pumpkin treats- small bowls of pumpkin soup and pumpkin ravioli. This was unexpected and extremely appreciated! The staff could not have been warmer or kinder. It was a lovely evening with excellent food and wine. A real treat.
