This dinner was bought for us as gift for a special anniversary. It started off on the wrong foot by being seated half an hour late. The area we were shown to for pre dinner drinks was a let down, with holes in the arm of the sofa, where were asked to sit there was damp patches in the corner above us. The rest of the decor was dated. The evening was saved by the food, we had the tasting menu and the food was up a level from the norm. We appreciated the wine sommelier with her enthusiasm for the task. However do not go there if you want a romantic meal for two. It was full to bursting with loud Mancunians with too much money!

As it was my partner's birthday we were looking forward to the amazing graze lunch menu. However, the food and wine was at best only 'ok'. We wanted to come out raving about the food and the experience but sadly this was not to be! We did enjoy the pre-lunch cocktails we ordered in the bar and found the staff helpful and service good.

We dined here on a friday evening, were straight away taken into the lonuge area where we was seated and given a drinks menu and food menu, we was given expplanation and recommendations regards drinks and foods. Once ordered our drinks was left alone to soak up the vibrance of the venue and in our company, it was spacious and not once were people overcrowded or in your face. Once at the table and we had ordered our food it was just as we expected if not better the rich flavours and foods was immaculate.

We dined at 7.45 on a Fri night,it wasn't overly busy,but had to ask for the menus,had to ask twice to order the food ,was 1/2 an hr before we got some bread,so were hungry and drank to much before the food arrived.
The food was beautifully prepared but value for money was not great have better local food eateries, without a named chef, that create and present better food at better prices. Definitely WON'T be coming again. It was also a special birthday treat.

We dined at 19.45 on a Monday evening so the restaurant was relatively quiet. We began with cocktails by the champagne bar and our jackets and order were taken promptly. The menu was explained to us and everything was available. As soon as we were seated we were brought warm bread immediately. The grazing menu was fantastic and the wine was great too.The meal was expensive and I would be more keen to pay the prices at the weekend when the restaurant atmosphere is in full swing. The waiters knowledge was exceptional and he advertised promotions and later dates to us in a knowledgeable but not pushy way.

Table booked for 8:15pm, email confirmation requested table to be available for 10pm and we were only just eating our main meal by that time. However, we were not pressured at all for the table and ended up staying until after midnight.
