My husband and I enjoyed a luxurious afternoon tea here on Sunday 3 Feb. I had been about a year ago with a friend and our experience was average but they've clearly made significant strides to improve. The food was lovely. Afternoon tea tends to mean way too much food but it was just right and there was a cakes trolley as well, just in case we were feeling particularly greedy. Our server was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. Even though we have been fortunate enough to be able to experience most of Edinburgh's finest restaurants, it still felt like a special event. Highly recommend it!

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea, served by friendly, courteous and efficient staff in an amazing venue. A harpist played beautifully on the balcony and it all made our anniversary that much more special.

Afternoon tea was booked for 1430 and was nicely and promptly served by very efficient and pleasant staff, one small glitch was when we ordered a tea top up which was served as we were leaving.

Stepping into the tranquil yet busy Bollinger Bar
at 3.30p.m. for afternoon tea was like stepping into an oasis of calm. Leaving behind the shopping frenzy on Princes Street the professional staff worked their own Christmas magic!

The food was well presented and delicious, with as many refills of tea and coffee as we wanted without extra charge. Will definitely return.
