A chic neighbourhood bistro in fashionable Chelsea, Gordon Ramsay's Foxtrot Oscar presents hearty British classics with a contemporary twist.

Fine seasonal ingredients are fused to create classic dishes on the Foxtrot Oscar menu, including caramelised pork belly with Asian salad, pan fried sea trout with samphire and cockles, or the Foxtrot burger with chunky chips and tomato relish. There are regular daily set menus and Sunday roasts at Foxtrot Oscar, along with a sumptuous dessert selection and a refined wine list.

Cosy yet clean cut, the sophisticated, subtly-lit dining room at Foxtrot Oscar London features banquette seating and an assortment of prints. Open since 1980, Gordon Ramsay acquired Foxtrot Oscar restaurant after he and his chefs regularly dined there following an evening’s service at his flagship 3 Michelin star restaurant along the road, where current chef, Cary Docherty has also worked.

Dined at 6pm - first sitting of the evening. We went for a special treat, my daughter's 25th and my other half's 50th. Amazing place - the quality of food was outstanding, the staff were attentive and knowledgeable and they made a special tribute to the Birthday people by writing in chocolate "Happy Birthday" next to a candle glowing on a scoop of amazing ice cream! It looked stunning. When we got there we were told there was only 1 burger left, if we wanted to order that option, when we ordered it, saw it and tasted it - understood its popularity - amazing chips!!

Busy Saturday evening, but the service did not suffer. The food was good value and delicious and when a member of our party was unhappy with the 'steak' that was served, it was taken away and another meal was produced without fuss and too much delay. The staff were friendly and efficient and most importantly we didnt feel rushed. The only small negatives are a limited menu and the cost of the wine. That being said I will definately be going to Foxtrot Oscar again.

The place is small and cozy and the staff is very friendly.
We managed to get a table on Saturday night for 4 people , food is tasty and portions are on the large side .
Overall a very great experience .

Do NOT book a table at "Foxtrot Oscar"

Service was very poor:

- Staff are acting like robots.
- A worm welcome is missing.
- After been giving a table by the front door, we had to wait for long to be attended.
- One of the water glasses was damage and dirty.
- Waiter forgot to offer Bread & Butter, when I asked they offered to serve it, but we were halfway with our main course therefore we refused to have it.
- Some of the salad leaves were old and slimy.
- Manager tried to be kind by taking service charges off.
- I did tip them double the service charges to show hem it isn't about money.
- Tables are very small and too close to each others.

I booked for 6pm telling them we were due at a concert up the road @ 7pm.we ordered promptly and the food, one main course only, arrived at 6.30. The pork was declared good but my fish pie was very liquid and one would expect any Gordon Ramsay chef to be able to cook Brussells Sprouts. Not here!![$] for one coursex2, plus 2 glasses of wine was expensive on this occasion and NOT good value.If Mr Ramsay can do a delicious lunch @ [...]for £30 he can offer better at Foxtrot.
