The food was brilliant, the wine was excellent and the staff very attentive.
Ambience was very good as was the decor.
We were there as a small wedding party and were looked after very well.

We began with Gin and tonic with fresh lime juice in the bar. Very sophisticated. We were shown to a table by a waitress who later carried our drinks into the restaurant to finish.
Be prepared for expensive drinks (we paid £12 each) but the setting, service and the drinks themselves were quite exceptional so we would judge to be value for money.
Dining room is circular reminiscent of an opulent library. My wife was seated at a very spacious banquette and I was given a comfortable throne like chair.
We felt quite private as the two seater tables all had plenty of space.
Service was first class, attentive but never hurried or intrusive.
Amuse Bouche and a three course meal with petits foure (excuse French) was truly perfectly cooked and just as perfectly proportioned.
Wine (red) was from Michel's shared vineyard and we were completely satisfied with this choice.
All in all a faultless evening.

Had £45 three course menu incl 1/2 wine bottle (as per Bookatable offer) which, at dinner time, has excellent Q/P ratio

We were five women celebrating two 50th birthdays. The restaurant is nice and bright with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. A bonus that the restaurant was completely full, although the tables are spread out so it doesn't feel cramped. The waiting staff were professional and reasonably attentive, but nothing too much. (Would have been fun with a few more smiles on faces though...)

We had the £45 three course deal with wine etc. which offered a choice of three starters, mains and desserts. The food was lovely with just the right size portions. (The rabbit was probably the best I've had.)

We arrived early and enjoyed a cocktail in the hotel bar, this set the mood for a wonderful dining experience. The food was beautifully presented and impossible to fault. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be returning.

The food was lovely, but had to ask for coffee, it was not offered, even though it was part of the deal. We also only got a half bottle of wine between us, when the deal was a half bottle each? I considered asking but by that point we had had all our food, so we would have been sat there with just wine in front of us, seemed a bit desperate on our part.
I have been to other Roux establishments and this was not as good, on service, food was great.
