Excellent! I had a wonderful dining experience at Roux at The Landau last night, 24th July in the early evening. I booked the current offer of a 3 course set menu with 2 glasses of wine for myself and a dear friend and we were not disappointed. The menu was excellent for a set menu with no extra "price add-ons" for certain courses which many restaurants do, including the wonderful cheese board!! There was a good variety in each course and the wines we had were superb. The food tasted just a good as it looked and the portions were just right to manage the whole 3 courses. The staff were friendly, smiled and interacted warmly with us, they were not over attentive, and went out of their way to make sure you had a great experience. I would certainly recommend the restaurant to others and will be going back again myself. The deal I had was very good value for money. Thank you Roux at the Landau!

Was absolutely wonderful. I thought as we had booked a special deal, we may have been treated differently from other diners but this was not the case. The whole experience was superb.

From being seated in a semi-circle enclave,the staff were most attentive.The Restaurant does not pretend to be something it isn't.A calm but not overbearing service ( something which we really liked) which was matched by our menu.Helpful discussions on our choice made the decisions easy.My wife's mushroom soup to my pan fried salmon were delicious starters followed by rabbit confit and collar of pork were just gorgeous. Both meats were cooked to perfection and perfectly matched by recommended wines.We just kept enjoying every mouthful.
Desserts were a challenge. Which one do we choose? We ultimately went for the most creamy vanilla ice cream and the cheeseboard.

Upon reflection,my wife just simply loved the occasion from the ambience to the excellent staff.We will go back again but probably go for the a la carte menu.Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

We wanted to have a special evening for my husband's birthday and we certainly got that. Roux at the Landau is a comfortable size dining area, the staff are all absolutely charming and friendly without being stuffy, and the food....... Our deal was really good value with three courses and two glasses of wine for £45. The food was exquisite - mushroom soup so light and fluffy it was like souffle, the best piece of pork with gooseberries - a great combination, and a beautifully crafted desert with caramalised banana, shortbread which was so pretty it seemed a shame to eat it. Of course we added a few things to our evening, as you do, which edged up the bill, but the total evening was such a success I couldn't fault it. I will be back.

Superb! Good and service is as you would hope from Roux. The Lunchtime menu deal is very good value. Fast becoming a regular haunt.
