Excellent service and food at this small unpretentious restaurant. Could not fault it.

Great food, bill came to around £95 with tip and water on top of the £25pp deal. We paid the extra supplement for 1 larger and 1 fillet steaks, which were absolutely delicious and well worth the additional cost.
Great food, really friendly staff. Very busy restaurant, would definitely go back.

Lovely food and well presented. Nice atmosphere and although it was full, it wasn't noisy. When I booked I told the restaurant that one of the party was vegetarian and although there was no vegetarian main course on the set menu they offered two possibilities from the a la carte menu. One criticism of the set menu though is the fact that vegetables are not included with the main course and cost £4 per portion. In addition some of the items had supplements so expect to pay well over £25 per person before any usual extras like wine and tea or coffee. However, overall it was an enjoyable lunch.

Food was awful, service was a joke, and the whole thing completely overpriced. We had the set menu, but unless you plan on eating next to nothing you have to order sides...which are an extra £4 each and tiny. I would like to think that Marco Pierre White is unaware as to the shambles that this restaurant is in, otherwise he should be completely ashamed. I wish I could give a redeeming feature...but sadly, there is none. Advice: Do not go here!

Food was average for what we paid. We were expecting larger sides considering they weren't part of our meals. Service was pretty poor. Np ambiance. Wouldn't go there for a romantic dinner - we were seated underneath a couple who sat on the upper floor. It wasn't appetising eating dinner and with someone's feet and crotch in the corner of your eye. There is obviously a reason why most of the people who were dining had a voucher of some sort.

Not the best night really.
Bought a bookatable deal for a special birthday and was hugely disappointed.
We were not seen to by a waiter for over twenty minutes. One of the three choices of cocktails were not available. No other option suggested.
One of three choices of starter were not available. No other choice offered.
Main meal was nice but when you ask for a medium steak you kind of expect to get it in a restaurant that is a steakhouse!
The manager was promoting drink driving to the table next to us by suggesting sucking on copper if breathalised.
Disgusting.
Nice dessert but glad to get out of there.
Would I go again? No!

Unpretentious, very value for money (if using available offers), nice, relaxed atmosphere although the place is a little small and the bathrooms could do with being a little more clean. Over all the fillet steak was excellent but the rump a little chewy. Great starters and pudding all for under £100 for 2 (1 cocktail and sparkling water) on the King's Rd...

Great Steak, and delicious cocktail. Price pushed up quite dramatically by having to order side dishes (the steak came with nothing!). So not as good value as advertised. But overall a lovely meal, with friendly staff.
