Business dinner that needed to be of a high standard but informal.
The set price menu idea is well executed, as the host all I had to say is "I am having three, courses" to put my guest at ease.

Maybe the veal was a poor choice. It was chewy, and the carrots and mange-touts were so al dente I couldn't eat them. If it were not for the side dishes of potatoes and spinach I would have been left with just the tough veal. The younger members of my party, however, seemed satisfied, though as it was my treat perhaps they were being polite.

Wines were not cheap, and the only half bottles available were extremely expensive.

I don't like the 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill when it is presented. If I am going to tip I pay cash to the person who has earned it.
