We booked a table for 6pm knowing that we weren't going to be eating until nearer 7pm. The staff were really relaxed and helpful and our table waitress (a delightful Polish lady called [@]) simply couldn't be bettered. Will definitely go again.

Underneath Charing Cross Station, Champagne Charlies is a Davy's traditional ale and port house, featuring an expansive cellar of Davy’s own label house wines and champagne. Cosy and rustic, Champagne Charlies Charing Cross features sawdust covered floors, candlelit tables and intimate alcoves.

In true Olde Worlde style, Davy's Old Wallop real ale is served in pewter tankards or copper jugs. Decanted daily, vintage ports are available by the glass or bottle. The Champagne Charlies dining room serves up hearty British fare and chargrilled dishes, and there is a relaxed bar menu with hot or cold dishes available throughout the day.

Traditional favourites on the Champagne Charlies menu include Gressingham duck breast with creamed leeks, bangers and mash with red wine gravy or poached salmon with hollandaise sauce and minted greens. British artisan cheeses accompany English puddings like treacle tart and custard.

Just off Villiers Street, Champagne Charlies London is found in The Arches shopping centre, near Trafalgar Square.

I have eaten at Champagne Charlies on many occasions but would have to say that this was one of the best. My friends and I decided to meet having not seen each other for a while. We ate at 1800 on 3 Dec and luckily had one of the small side dining rooms. This has the affect of being part of the restaurant with all the atmosphere but still having our own space. We all chose the christmas menu and all thoroughily enjoyed our meals - the venison "meatballs" were a real pleasure. The service was excellent.

cebtrally located, this is a great venue for early evening drinks and dinner with friends. I thought the champagne was particularly good value

A group of old friends from Luis Gordon had lunch at Champagne Charlies today, it was great. The food was good the service impeccable. A special thank you to [...] the charming young man who not only served our food and wine but also helped to take the elderly lady in our party to her car.Hopefully we will be back next year for another reunion. I thought that the food was slightly overpriced, although my partner disagreed. It WAS delicious though, even if the service was slightly rushed.

Their facilities were clean and the evening was very nice.
