Showcasing a predominantly British menu, Crusting Pipe London has signature dishes like bangers and mash, chargrilled swordfish steak with Mediterranean vegetables and the charcoal-grilled Gressingham duck breast with a port and redcurrant gravy. The restaurant went that extra mile to accomodate the two vegans in the party. They phoned the week before to sort out a menu for them. There were 6 of us and we had a separate room. The day the meal was made by out waiter - a real star. It was my birthday and he served my desert singing Happy Birthday along with a lighted candle.

I took my parents for afternoon tea as I had visited around this time last year and it had been fabulous. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was lovely, when it arrived, it didn't look like there was much, but we were full by the time we finished.

We arrived at 1200 on a Sunday for the 1215 table that we had booked. The very helpful and friendly staff were aware that we were coming and having confirmed our identity showed us straight to the table that we had asked for near the window. The staff were attentive without being pushy and we ordered food from their snack menu and their specials board when we were ready to. If you want quality rather than quantity, this is the place to get it. You can order as much or as little as you want without any pressure. An all-round excellent experience.

Great earlier in the day , but sadly lacks something later in the evening and not for after the theatre .The food was fairly well presented but over priced. The cheese board was pathetic. I would reccommend as a venue for a drink and a snack but not the 'A la carte.
Would not recommend to a freind for dinner after a show.

5 :15 pre theatre meal ,tasty food and good portions for london tourist trap but served on cold plates so dinner v quickly cold.nice house red and white and the pudding wine half bottle good . we were warned about bag snatchers operating in the restaurant

7pm, food was great - really tasty. some items we wanted had run out though but overall was happy with meal. had eaten here before mid-week after work and was bringing family here this time as somewhere I knew did good food. After an initial mess-up with sitting us outside when we should have been indoors, the food and drink spoke for itself
