In the historic St James’s area of Westminster, L’Oranger serves French classics with subtle elegance. Lit by a glass-domed ceiling, the restaurant offers private dining and superb wines.

The L’Oranger menu uses seasonal ingredients, and so changes to offer great variety. French classics served include Duck foie gras confit with a wild rocket salad and pine nuts, or roast lobster with a light garlic flavour, provençal “Parmigiana” with aubergine & cherry tomatoes.

The wine list at L’Oranger restaurant spans the entire globe, and is opened up with monthly wine tasting sessions. Classic French elegance is upheld at L’Oranger London without any pretention and with a warm atmosphere – black and white uniformed waiters ensure the flowers are fresh, the linen is crisp, and the silverware is highly polished.

L’Oranger Westminster sits between Green Park and St James’s Park, and is just 6 minutes’ walk from Green Park Tube Station.

Really great restaurant. Staff are so friendly and professional. The food was simply amazing, and a lot of it! Not nouveau cuisine where there was very little food.
The staff are attentive yet happy to leave you alone. They don't rush you either leaving you to sit at the table for as long as you like.
Great for an intimate dinner or business meeting.
Not a restaurant for children though.

Despite its longevity L'Oranger continues to adapt to the times providing creative food, attractively presented with impeccable service. This is a classic restaurant where the experience is one of great comfort at well spaced tables, attentive staff and interesting food. Don't go here for bling or an inspired atmosphere - the clientele are middle aged like the author and enjoy the tranquility.

Dined @ 7.30pm - virtually empty-half term? Nice welcome- good ambiance, good range on menu, tasty appetiser, outstanding stater, main course well cooked, pudding menue disappointing -especially the house speciality. Service outstanding- welcoming. Total bill - somewhat overpriced [$] for a very ordinary bottle of red wine and 13 1/2% service charge on top. Would I return? Marginal at that price.

Had very nice meal with a colleague.
Food was good, starter of foie gras delicious, fillet of beef was beautifully cooked and very tasty. Service good, although docked a star as were kept waiting a while to get an aperitif. Sommelier's recommendation on the wine was superb.
Overall a very pleasant experience, albeit rather heavy on the pocket.
