The Cellar Gascon menu takes diners on a journey through the south of France, specialising in the South West, Languedoc-Roussillon and Corsica. The seasonally-changing range of dishes includes crunchy Bayonnais, BBQ'd pork ribs Basque style, duck carpaccio & oceanic watercress, glazed scallop & aromatic apple, and garden pea soft egg. Both winners of 'Best in Taste' at Taste of London, marmite royale & soldiers and duck & truffle burger also feature.
Renowned for its wine list, Cellar Gascon in London works with a large range of high-quality producers, offering around 20 different wines by the glass, and about 200 wines by the bottle at very reasonable prices. For those unable to choose, one wine is available at a reduced price each week. The wine list also highlights a selection of wines from other regions in France such as Loire Valley, Burgundy, and Alsace. Monthly wine dinners are held with food pairings from Pascal Aussignac.
A plat du jour is available every lunch time for £6, and can be enjoyed with a starter or dessert, or with a glass of house wine. 'Gascon After-Work' offers a great finish to the day at Cellar Gascon restaurant, while from 17:30 until 18:30, all guests ordering drinks with be treated to complimentary canapés.
