It was our second visit which was as excellent as the first. We brought a friend for a birthday treat who very much enjoyed the experience!

I first enjoyed tea at the Ritz in May this year and the overall experience was so amazing it inspired me to book and treat my sister on 11 September. One of the points I thought was memorable was that half way through the lunch we had a fresh pot of tea served without having to ask - my sister had to ask for a fresh pot of tea as her tea was cold - this visit as a whole was not the same standard as my previous visit and proved a little disappointing after a 2hour train journey too. We were celebrating our 60th birthdays and this was a special treat for my twin sister.

Apart from the nice waiter and the nice tea expert manager, the experience was not that great and I would say it wasn't a good value for money at all. The food was below average and the overall atmosphere was not that great. I wouldn't recommend it but I must say that the waiter and the manager were really nice and knowledgable.

Six of us enjoyed our Tea at The Ritz as a 70th Birthday treat to ourselves. The service was impeccable with courteous staff in a very elegant setting. The finger sandwiches were delicious, I could have eaten more but I needed to leave room for the superb little cakes and scones. The glasses of champagne that two of us had were a bit pricey at £12 each, but were enjoyed as it was a special occasion. Our waiter, Giovanni, was attentive to all our needs and kept our tea pots filled and more sandwiches appearing like magic. A most enjoyable day.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. From the minute we got there we were spoilt. The choice of sandwiches and pastries were lovely and the home made scones were excellent. We had the champagne tea and although the cost was a little bit expensive it was well worth the treat. I would definetley recommend the Ritz to anyone who wants that something special.
