Ate at 9:30 last Friday night. The tandoori monkfish was wonderful. The service is very efficient and friendly. We then moved to the outside terrace bar which is a fantastic addition, well heated, great table service and very lively. Whenever I go to The Restaurant Bar & Grill I have a good night, it's no surprise it's lasted so long.

Meal excellent, atmosphere great. Service from table staff fantastic and attentive. Only negative was that we had rung through beforehand to request a seat on the terrace, although the girl tried her utmost when we arrived we had to settle for a seat in the restaurant...although this was by the window. Did not de-tract in anyway from our experience.

A fantastic 2nd visit on busy Saturday evenings, food is fantastic, great atmosphere, a really enjoyable evening. Cannot fault it.

We dined at 6pm. It was already very busy with Christmas parties but waiting time was very acceptable and friendly.
Food hot fresh and delicious.

After many great meals at this restaurant myself and my wife booked a table for 18:00. we were shown to our table which was in a great position overlooking John dalton st the table was a perfect. Both myself and my wife ordered from the pre 19:00 special menu, we both chose the same starter and mains. To start we had tomato soup which was very nice and as a main we had flash grilled rump steak with a side salad, the steak was such a poor quality cut of meat my wife could only eat part of it and I only faired slightly better, after complaining the steak was taken off our bill. cheese board as desert was ok if not unimaginitive. After paying our bill we left feeling slightly short changed even minus the steak cost.
