The food was 'nice' but not particularly memorable or stand out and whilst there was nothing wrong with it persay, in a city like London there needs to be a reason as to why I would return somewhere; further than the experience being 'perfectly pelasant'. Service was efficient, again staff were 'nice'. The prosecco and coffee were delicious, the drinks being the highlight for a fairly plain evening.

Whilst good service and nice setting food was not great. Only good part was the starter. Duck confit was tough and chocolate dessert was hard and definitely not fresh. Reconsidering using book a tAble given the lack of credibility of this recommendation. Maybe I got what I paid for...?

Went to try their set menu. The food was Ok and service was brisk. The ambiance was somewhat dark and heavy, OK if you like that sort of thing. The set menu was £22 but it soon became £35 with drinks and service. An OK experience

Pre dinner cocktails very nice. Our table a bit too near the door where lots of "lovies" we're meeting for a party.

The restaurant was quite empty, yet the communication between the waiting staff was shambolic to start with - and when we were roundly ignored when we said we were ready to order. I think there was a new member of staff with no personal skills, but she should have been closely watched. We had to call over the room to get ourselves noticed! The champagne cocktail however, was amazing and some of the food was also very good, but the duck had clearly been left to dry out in a hot oven or hotplate for a long time - as it was very dry and tough. It has the potential to be very slick and impressive - but it wasn't!

Lovely food, not too busy but service still quite slow and puddings not great.
