The restaurant was quite empty, yet the communication between the waiting staff was shambolic to start with - and when we were roundly ignored when we said we were ready to order. I think there was a new member of staff with no personal skills, but she should have been closely watched. We had to call over the room to get ourselves noticed! The champagne cocktail however, was amazing and some of the food was also very good, but the duck had clearly been left to dry out in a hot oven or hotplate for a long time - as it was very dry and tough. It has the potential to be very slick and impressive - but it wasn't!

I took my friend for her birthday and we had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the portions generous. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was excellent value for money (3 coursed for £22)

The service was rushed all along even though there were only few customers and at least two or three staff. The food is average; not bad but not worth the time and money spent that evening.

We dined around 930pm - there were tables that had been left unset, and tables that were not laid out properly (with cutlery). On ordering the set menu, the haloumi was reheated and burnt on one side. The main (sea bream) was salty, the "sauce" was terrible! it looked like a cross between soup and dish water, but tasted of flavoured water. This wasn't served with enough (of the cold) vegetables to soak up the 'soup' that we ordered more vegetables. The duck was ok but the rest of the trimmings were bland in comparison. The dessert - "eaton mess" was missing the merrigue and was substituted with strawberry jam and a lot of clotted cream. The waitress said "the fudge cake was not warm and served cold", except it arrived piping hot.

Very disappointed with the food and someone seemed to be playing with the dimmer switch as the lights were being switched on and then off.

Coca cola was very flat and looked like "guiness" without the head.

Don't go here and waste your time as it was extremely disappointing that such a place exists in london. This place needs to feature on "Gordon Ramsey's kitchen nightmares"
