We were tired and hungry after a book launch and ate pollo with funghi, seafood risotto, and a pasta dish - all were plentiful, tasty and well presented. The waiters were cheerful, warm and polite. We hadn't booked but were shepherded to a pleasant table. It was everything you would want from Italian food, and the staff made the whole experience more enjoyable. We ate at 9.00 pm. My only minus would be the light - a bit harsh. All the rest are pluses, and we came away warm, well-fed and happy.
PS I changed my shoes to go home and left behind one boot - restaurant returned it charmingly the following day.
