Curtains Up is our local and we love it. Went for Sunday lunch for first time. Great selection if you eat meat but would've loved a veggie roast alternative. Service was excellent, food was great as always.

Gourmet British classics, bustling banter and a chic, comfortable interior are all offered at The Curtains Up. Pub quizzes and TV sports generate a great atmosphere, and the Barons Court Theatre is seconds away.

Firm British favourites are given a gourmet gastropub makeover on The Curtains Up menu. There are light bites like goats cheese rarebit on sour dough, and generously filled rustic sandwiches, with fillings including rare roast beef, onion chutney and creamed horseradish. Vegetarian dishes at The Curtains Up restaurant include roasted pumpkin salad, and there are also hearty burgers and a popular Sunday roast.

As well as a fine selection of ales and an extensive wine list, The Curtains Up West Kensington mixes up eclectic cocktails like elderflower martinis. A rich dessert selection includes white chocolate cheesecake and red berry compote.

With lively quiz nights and nearby theatre entertainment, The Curtains Up London is 4 minutes’ walk from Barons Court Tube Station.

              Comments about this restaurant :

We dined before a show at their theatre (in the basement). It was a beautiful, quirky pub with a great ambience. It was full with people, all having a good time. We ate at about 7.30 pm, and really enjoyed the food, although I would have personally wanted a more substantial portion, but that could just be my greediness! I did not get a chance to have a dessert but they looked gorgeous.
