Set within the Hotel Ibis, just around the corner from the DLR station, National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory, Café Rouge Greenwich serves good value French cuisine.

As part of the nationwide chain of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as croques, beef bourguignon, confit duck and mussels. There are also lighter dishes for those with little time, and excellent value set menus for lunch and dinner (on certain days). To accompany the food is a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.

In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, baguettes and omelettes, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.

Booked a table by the window - perfect spot. Waitress was friendly & professional. I explained that I had Tesco Cafe Rouge vouchers and she couldn't have been more helpful.

Food was delicious as always - also go to the Epsom branch -

We stayed chatting after we had finished eating and were not made to feel awkward at all!

The meals were good. We were particularly impressed with the fishcakes which were high in fish content making them full of flavour. Two of our guests were in their 80's and would have preferred smaller portions. I thought the lamb rump was excellently cooked. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife was happy with her vegetarian pasta dish too.

Very recently I have moved to the area, Cafe Rouge has become my fafourite ever since! Great location, general atmosphere and most importantly service. All the waitresses/waiters are super smiley and remember you as regular customer, delivering outstanding service and creating great vibe. They seem to be truly enjoying what they do which makes huge difference to one's experience. Team spirit is amazing to watch. Gung Ho! friends.

Negatives were, bottled water not chilled and warm glasses straight from dishwasher served still warm not what you need for a refreshing drink with your meal on a very hot summer day.

Stayed at the Ibis hotel and went to a concert at the O2. Perfect for an early tea before making our way on the Thames Clipper to the O2

I dined at 7:15pm it was for a group of us to celebrate my daughters birthday. I eat here all the time because normally the waiters are really good, attentive and most importantly they remember you and what you like to drink. However on this occasion, the usual waiters were not working so i don't think we got the best service that night even thoughwe spent in the region of [$].

I went for early evening dining which was good as it can get quite busy. The food taste delicous and was presented well. I was not impressed with the ladies loos at all as they were not very clean. The staff were attentive and all very good looking.

we went at about 6pm for a mothers day meal.. we booked for 4 and ended up going as a group of 5.. took the waiters a few minutes to get it together and then we had the choice of tables. Lovely food, lovely deserts and plenty to choose from - possibly not so much for vegetarians though.
