The service is slow, incompetent and barely able to cope with a few early diners, let alone a busy restaurant. Ordered sharing antipasti @ £11.50 after 45 minutes it arrived 2 pieces of serrano ham, 2 slices of cheap german salami and a roll - inadequate and poorly presented on a large wooden platter to make it look interesting. The pizzas arrived a short while later making it to the table an hour from order taking to delivery. I mistook them for Tesco value range they were so aneamic in their appearance with cheap tasteless cheese and a smattering of sauce on top of a thin base with two olives on one (this was supposed to be extra olives) cut in half, a caesar salad with cold chicken pieces more of a starter size, and childs menu pizza which was slightly better than the 'a la carte' margerita one for adult although swimming in fat. The final bill for this rubbery rubbish including a lemonade and 2 diet cokes came to £43.00. Vile horrible food worst pizza's I've ever seen let alone tasted. The only reason this place gets custom through the door is purely position in Thame and not enough competition in the market town. I did'nt tick anything on recommendations unless it was for its closure and my money back!

Portions were small and food was lukewarm. Considered poor value for money. Very noisy although only half full.

The "background" music was in the foreground and everyone had to raise their voices to speak to each other which is, after all, why we got together! Much too loud and, when the restaurant is so busy, completely unnecessary. The service was excellent and the food delicious - as usual. The waiting staff were cheerful and patient. With our voucher, the value was unbeatable.

We were happy with everything. I was particularly happy that my request for a downstair seating was listerned to as myself and one other are disabled. i was also pleased that we were given a quite table in the corner and therefore were not disturbed by other customers.
The staff were also very friendly and attentive.

5.10PM, MEAL DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL 6PM. PIZZA OVEN BROKEN SO COULD ONLY HAVE PASTA. THIS WAS A 13 YR OLD BOY'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION WITH A COUPLE OF FRIENDS AFTER A GAME OF BOWLING, SO VERY DISAPPOINTED NO PIZZA. SERVICE SLOW AND HAD TO KEEP ASKING FOR THINGS. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A NICE GESTURE FOR PERHAPS SOMETHING TAKEN OFF THE BILL BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS.
