Chicken Caesar salad and a glass of Prosecco was a perfect way to catch up with an old friend at Joe Allen. As always staff were friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. Good food in a congenial atmosphere.

Bar & cocktail menu was fantastic, house white wasn't very nice. Staff were a little slow, but helpful. Food was nice, but not lovely.

It was lovely coming back here with my family who are now the same age I was when I first visited! It's still the lovely friendly restaurant I remember, with great, good-value food - even the glass of red wine that I had with my set-menu meal was very tasty. And a pianist playing in the background to complete the experience!

Really buzzy place at 6.30om on a Saturday.... good friendly staff. Food was ok but disappointed no gluten free bread or pasta options. Also, where we were sat the live pianist could not be heard which was a shame

We booked after a recommendation from a friend and are so grateful. We were treated like old friends, such a warm reception. All of the staff executed their jobs to perfection and with effortless ease.
We chose the burgers which aren't on the menu but which I recommend. I'm quite a fussy burger eater and this was up there with the best.
All in all a great experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
