Food was mainly disappointing, as experienced by all five of the party. Starters and mains were bland except for garlic prawns. Desserts were good but not exceptional. Restaurant was far too noisy, beyond having an atmosphere.

This was a last minute recommendation and we tried booking online not expecting to get a table so were pleasantly surprised when the booking went through. Right from the minute we walked through the door the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Drinks order arrived quickly and food order taken. We shared a starter platter that was really good and well worth the money. We did wait quite a while between the starter and main course being served, this wasn't an issue for us but I'm sure others may have been questioning where their food was! Again no complaints about the food when it did arrive, fresh, hot and very tasty. Overall we didn't really spend much more than we would do usually but quality and service were so much better.

Had a lovely welcome, the weather was atrocious we were late but it wasn't a problem. No rush , lovely ambience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Just a few points to help you improve: it was too noisy. We couldn't hear each other speak unless we shouted. The service was fantastic but a little on the slow side. Our drinks and mains took a long time and when they brought the bill they didn't come back to take payment, we eventually had to go to the till at the door to pay.

We were at piccolinos for new year - the atmosphere was vibrant, service friendly although slow due to the volume of tables. As it was New Year the build up to midnight could of been better as it was, it was left to each table to decide when the last strike of midnight was, and it all seemed a bit out of sync which was disappointing other than that it was an enjoyable evening. Thanks

7pm dinner for 4, food fab but service slow, had to chase starter that took 45 mins - another table had ordered the same and received ours. When received we did get a lovely apology and the waitress tried to make amends.
