It was really good value, the staff was fantastic. I have dined in Planet Hollywood at Vegas, but I thought this whole experience was much better.

The service was slow and we were seated upstairs where it gets very warm and stuffy as you are so close to the daughter felt sick and had to sit outside. The food is great and can not fault it.. And the 20% off voucher helped.

We go a couple of times a year and usually excellent but this time the food wasn't as good as normal and the waitress a bit judgemental, shame as this is the first time I have had to be negative.

I have to say I was so disappointed with our planet Hollywood experience. In the past we have dined there on several occasions and been very happy. This one well, when we got to the restaurant we were told we may not be able to dine as they had no gas. We went for a drink at the bar hoping the problem would be sorted by the time of our reservation. When it came to our reservation time we had to wait fifteen minutes before we were seen by a server. We were then told we could have a few food choices. We decide to stay and have one of the limited choices. We were able to choose from one starter and from only five main meals. As you can imagine I was extremely disappointed!!!! Our first server was polite but had the very distinct smell of cigarettes, not what you wish to smell. The second server was very helpful and happy to help. When our main courses came I started to eat my jacket potato I then moved on to start a stone cold burger!!! As our server was no where to be found I informed another member of server came over apologised and replaced the burger.
I have to say I have been so disappointed with my visit to planet Hollywood the food, atmosphere, my treatment and smell. We are off to Florida in June and we usually dine at planet hollywood out there now we probably won't be dining there due to our disappointment!!!!!!

I arrived 10 minutes early but a friendly lady still confirmed my booking and seated me. The music was a bit loud upon arrival but as I was sitting, it managed to drown out conversations between other diners, particularly those between the few families who thankfully weren't seated too close to me. There are television screens showing film trailers and music videos plus also text messages from diners while the decor is cool and modern with vintage movie memorabilia on display. A trainee waiter and another server introduced themselves shortly after I was seated and they too were friendly, although the trainee waiter seemed inattentive when taking my order, kept coming to ask how my meal was, even when I was eating, and didn't bring me any tap water when I asked for it, probably because the restaurant was quite noisy. The waiter still brought me my Diet Coke float and offered me another when I finished it but I declined. My order was taken as soon as my drink arrived. The Parmesan spinach dip came with a generous portion of tortilla chips. It had a slightly spicy salsa topping but the dip itself was delightfully cheesy and creamy. A large group sitting in front of me were served their mains before I was served mine, even though I arrived before them but I guess it was because they had no starters. Later on one girl in that group got over-excited when her text was shown on screen, which bothered me slightly. The tortilla strips in the Southwestern Salad had the same texture as the chips with my starter, the dressing was zingy and the rest of the salad had an interesting mix of flavours and textures. The sorbet arrived shortly after I'd finished my main. It was refreshing and fruity, especially the mango but the raspberry one was delicious too.
The bill took quite a while to arrive as did the collection of payment.

All in all good service for the most part, interesting food choices, not as many children as I feared and friendly staff.

Overall rating: 4/5.
