Myself and a friend dined here Saturday evening. Lovely space and ambience. Service was good and the food and wine was scrumptious. I'm not normally a dessert person but I took absolute delight in sharing the tiramisu with my friend.....delicious! Would definitely eat here again.

We had a lovely evening with some very special friends...great service and food. The Restaurant was full and it was very busy but not too noisy. We will certainly dine there again. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and welcoming. The venue is stunning, and the food and drink excellent.
We would certainly use ASK Italian again, we could not think of any negative points.

We arrived at 7.30pm on Monday 4th February our reception was warm and friendly and we were shown to our pre-booked table straight away. Service initially was attentive, helpful and prompt but between the main course and dessert we were unable to get the attention of the waitress to make our dessert order. This caused a long delay between courses, however at the end of the meal our entire family commented on the good quality of the food. The manager helped our disabled and aged mother out of the restaurant through a special exit with a lift. The overall experience was good and we would return.

We were booked in for 7pm and the restaurant was already busy. The setting in the Grand Assembly Hall really gives the restaurant character and appeal and is worth a visit in itself. The staff were attentive and despite being extremely busy we were not rushed. The food came quickly and was well presented. There was some confusion over the wine order and this was remedied quickly and without fuss. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and we had plenty of time to chat. The meal was good value at a tad over £100 for five adults with wine and deserts.

mediocre food, no atmosphere, the restaurant felt cold. Average food, no buzz. Although the building is lovely.
City centre location.
