Tasty food with large portions. Left feeling full and satisfied. The staff were very efficient serving quickly and always available for orders of more drinks but without feeling pressured. Friendly and pleasant.Went as a birthday meal and all ten of us enjoyed the meal with no complaints - except our fat bellies.

A pleasant evening of food which was let down by the way the food was served. The waitress lent over the black dividing rail to serve the food instead of coming around to the table area. She past food over the first sat person to the further diner. This was done on more than 1 occasion and even leaned over the full table to allow her to grind the cheese on a meal. It was closely followed by the removal of plates after we had finished our first course and my wife felt obliged to assist her as she could not reach whilst leaning over the rail. We felt this was rather lazy and we felt uncomfortable with the service. We were informed that some of the main courses were sold out but surprised to see 2 other diners whom had arrived and ordered after us eating the sold out food. When questioned about the diners now eating I was informed that they had found some in the kitchen.
Though a nice meal I felt it was spoiled by the service level. Dined at 6.00p.m.

table booked for 7pm on a Saturday night ,arived and squashed into ther darkest corner of restaurant.
The waiter took drinks order, returned and spilt the whole pint of soft drink all over myself, chair and clothing ! I was genuinely soaked from head to toe and endured a bland pasta meal cold , wet and rather embarresed.
The waiter did apologise but offered no "complimentary" drink as a show of concern..
Needless to say we left hastily and had to return home alot earlier than planned with a trip to my dry cleaners monday..
I appreciate accidents happen .... but the complete lack of apology and concern was shocking ..sorry will not be returning unless fully kitted in north sea fishing oils.
